Was able to grab 4# of Unique ($96) and 8# of Sport Pistol ($126). The store parking lot was getting nuts when I departed shortly after they opened. Now, those pesky SPP have got to be hiding somewhere!

Sellers on gun broker are insane. Makes me wish I was one of those guys that bought 50k primers back in the day.

Anyway, found some large magnum pistol primers at a big gun dealer/pawn shop. Sportsman’s in Spokane, has some powder. Only allowed 1# per day though. They have Win 231, AA 2 and 5 and Titegroup, I think. I was hoping for VV340 or 3N37, I can load 9mm, 10mm and 44 with same powder.

I’d kill for some Ramshot Silhouette, although it’s basically like an AA#4 if they made one.

Went to the local shop to find a new scale, walked out with a couple extra pounds of Unique and a scale. Still no SPP, first Unique I have seen on local shelves in several months. Yes I was greedy and took the last two pounds, I did leave a pound of 231 on the shelf a month ago.

Case of W231 behind counter at Spokane Sportsman’s...1# per customer per day

I have plenty of small and large pistol primers and small rifle primers. But i still check for then when I go in a gun shop. I’ve found that many shops have the powders I use in stock, but no primers. It seems that there is a shortage of primers, but the same can’t be said for powders.
Puzzling.

Maybe because primers take up less space.

Local pawn shops with new/robust gun programs have primers hiding. My place had some LMP’s, that was it. Except...for they had a few thousand shotshell primers.

General Store/ACE in Spokane has tons of powders. Big ones like IMR4064, H110, Win 231, 244, Red Dot. No limit. I just bought 4#.

Also missed small pistol primers by a few hours. Dude said they get 5-10k, 2-3 times per week. Large rifle primers, they have maybe 3k on shelf.

Hornady 22cal 62gr FMJ-BT W/C. There was 134 1k's in stock at the start of the day, looks like they are starting to move fast, 87 left. This is the best price ive seen in a while. I ordered 1k a couple weeks ago, fast shipping. I was himming and hawing over grabbing another 1k, but when they started moving fast i pulled the trigger and grabbed another 1k.

Small Pistol Primers can be backordered from fedarm.com (Fort Smith - FSAAP) - Bulk Pack (5,000) primers delivered for around $170 ($32 shipping for each pack). No indications on when backorders are filled....but CC is charged immediately.

I went there and could only be put on an alert list, not backorder.

Sportsman’s Warehouse on Division, in Spokane, has Federal and Federal March Large Magnum Pistol and Large Magnum Rifle Primers.

Decent powders AA2, 7 and 9. Titegroup. Ramshot Enforcer, Win 232, WST.

I’m sure there’s others.

I had to order some sierra game kings IN 30 cal from bass pro. Deer season is fast approaching and I need more components for testing. San Antonio TX area

I am gonna give this a try. Did you order small pistol primer lead free $117.50 or the leaded at $129.95? I've never been faced with this option. Seems like a trick question...no lead and cheaper@$117.50

Montana Gold Bullets is stirring. Only 100 packs and cases, no 500 or 1000 ct. 10mm/40 cal 165 gr FMJ and CMJ. Some 38 spl and 45 200 gr.
