Okay, I'm just going to give this one away because nobody has got it yet and I posted it way back on page 6. It was an exchange between the dad (Robert Mitchum) and his son (Tommy Rettig) in River of No Return. It also starred Marilyn Monroe - she was Playboy Magazine's December, 1953 "Sweetheart" of the Month. They didn't have "Playmates" back then (I looked it up).Dad: “What’s important?”
Son: “To hit the target.”
Dad: “When?”
Son: “The first shot.”
Dad: “Why?”
Son: “Because I might not get another.”
Hint: December 1953 Sweetheart
Edited to add Hint #2: The Salmon River
Another from Zulu.Death awaits you! You have made a covenant with death and with hell you are in agreement. You're all going to die! Don't you realise? Can't you see? You're all going to die! Die... Death awaits you all!
He's right! Why's it us eh? Why us?
Because we're 'ere lad! Nobody else. Just us.
Huh, I thought u were right ....I remember reading some stuff saying that while it's usually quoted as "brad" the correct name was Brett.......I watched that movie a dozen times and can't honestly remember
The Last Boy Scout? Here's an easy one before I go off to work...
"Welcome to the party pal!"
Pretty sure it was one of the Die Hards. The Last Boy Scout?
Ya, 5th Element. Visually, very ahead of its time. Surprised they never made a sequal, though the budget must have been enormous, and I dont think it did that well in theatres, though it remains a cult classic.I think that's another one from the fifth element. Man, what a weird movie that was.
Road to Perdition.Had to look it up. But I'll add another hint. If you watch this you will find the road, the wrong road ...

May very well have been. I've watched both, along with "The Big Sleep" in the last couple weeks^^^
I think that remark was in "The Maltese Falcon" and directed at Guttman's hired gunsel...
Has to be "Road to Perdition" thenHad to look it up. But I'll add another hint. If you watch this you will find the road, the wrong road ...
Ok, here's an easy one from a movie I really enjoy.
"They'll be less apt to get nervy if Doc's on the street howitzer"
You're right. I remembered as soon as I read your post.Pretty sure it was one of the Die Hards.

This one's from a series back in the 90"s that ran 6 seasons I think. "Tony let me fire his Sig Sauer P226 once but this.... this is the finest firearm ever made Maurice."
The Highwaymen?Northern Exposure.
When Maurice gave the State trooper girlfriend a Browning High Power as a present.
Here's one before I'm off to bed.
Blam,(shotgun...)
"Ain't ya glad ya brung me along..?
"Consider that a divorce."
