I just ran out of some old case lube i had for years. It contained Teflon, which there are mixed feelings about it being a health hazard..but if worked darn good.

Are there any products that are good aerosoled case lubricant, possibly not contain teflon? How about a silicone based spray?

Teflon is awfully persistent and high tech for such a simple task. . . and I don't care for silicone either since it's way more persistent than required.

I spray 15% lanolin in 99% isopropyl solution.

Interesting.

RCBS Case Lube II or Imperial Sizing Wax both have worked great for me. I have some Tactical Advantage case lube and while it works great, it's messy.

aerosol- Hornady One Shot works decently as long as you let it dry...do not spray and then jump right into the mix of things. I switched to homemade case lube as the cost of the cans was expensive.
i do the 99% Isopropyl alcohol and Lanolin mix- in a pump sprayer. shake it up before every use, and then spritz it on the cases in a bag...roll around. no issues there.

Hornady one-shot case lube is hard to beat for general use. Just don’t make the mistake of buying their one-shot gun lubricant by mistake!

Hornady makes One Shot Case lube, it works for some, not for others. Is your application pistol, rifle or both?
I’d be wary of a silicone spray, it’s a lube definitely but I would question how primers would react to it over time. Many here have the lanolin/alcohol mix which I’m trying now, but I was looking for a better way to remove it. Other forums have mentioned using a water based wire pulling lube, but I haven’t implemented that, yet. Good luck.

As far as spray on lubes I would pick the Dillon lanolin/alcohol lube (or home mixed combination) over One Shot 10 times out of 10.

The Hornady Unique lube works much better than One Shot but is not a spray on.

I've been reloading for over 50 year now and have used almost every brand of case lube on the market by now. was using Imperial Sizing Wax for the past several years now and it's excellent. However and a big however, two months ago I tried the Hornady ''One shot'' Case Lube on a friends suggestion and it turned out to be the best case lube I've ever used. Very easy to apply, worked very smoothly on resizing once fired 5.56 military cases, and cleaned off easily in my case tumbler. Will be using the Hornady One shot lube on a regular basis now, but will continue to use my Imperial Sizing Wax for case forming. JMHO!

Picked up an aerosol of one shot online for 18.25$ shipped. I expect it will probably last years and years.

Although with carbide dies, they say you dont need case lube, BUT its just so much easier on the lever and my elbow and shoulder. Also, less stress on the Dillon 550B. Whether or not that is relevant, less friction is ALWAYS better.

One I have been meaning to try for way too long, I need to remedy that. I recently had to get a stuck 6 GT case out of a friends sizer. Yep, Spray One Shot.

When new in reloading I used RCBS case lube. Worked fine, but I hated the consistency of it. I really disliked it and the lube pad. But it worked - no stuck cases.

Then went to Hornady Unique. Seemed to work well enough. Liked it better than the RCBS stuff.

I now use Imperial Sizing Wax and I love it. Requires very little to be applied. Sizing big cases much easier than what I'd used previously.

Yes it made a believer out of me. Had tried several lube on 223 cases and never really liked any of them. After reading about Hornady One Shot decided to try it. Worked perfectly for me. I picked up a couple cookie pans at the dollar store and line the cases up and lightly spray them and then roll them 180 degrees and lightly spray again let dry and resize away.

I use 1oz (half a tube) of LEE resizing lube dissolved in a 10oz bottle of 70% isopropyl rubbing alcohol. I give cases a little spray, roll them around, and dry quickly with a heat gun. Resize away! Great stuff. It is more if a wax when it dries than an oil.

I’ve resized thousands of 9mm and 380 and about a hundred 30/30 cases.

I just use the imperial wax. I have used beeswax and vaseline, rem oil, hydraulic oil, and graphite.

I have both One-Shot and WD-40 Specialist Dirt and Dust Resistant Dry Lube PTFE Spray, and I can't tell the difference. Except in price.

Take a gallon zip lock. Spray the inside real good with One-Shot. Dump in a couple hundred 9mm. Roll 'em all around and off you go.

Exactly the procedure I use. No lube gets inside the case, and the lube is well distributed on the outside.

I use castor oil now. One Hornady case lube is 100% castor oil. Unique lube is tallow and mink oil, and yet another is a mix of vegetable oils. Not sure what One Shot aerosol is, they get to call it a proprietary mix on the SDS.
