Looks like they took one for sure but the other is not looking good. In fact it looks like it very well is in the Dems hands. My guess is they will waste no time in banning guns, mags and what ever else they can do. They now have the power to put 4 SC justices on the bench and we are just SOL

Nah. Plenty of us dems like guns. We’re also pretty bad at passing legislation so there’s that.

Obama didn’t take our guns away with a dem controlled government, it’s literally just a running platform to get in office.

SC justices do their job to interpret the constitution and the constitutionality of things in the best way they can, as unbiased as they can because that’s literally their job, party be dammed.

It’s much too early to speculate and this reads like a “sky is falling” type post. It’ll probably get locked soon.

We’ve been there before. What’s different about the second amendment now?
We also have a conservative SCOTUS.
Apologies for the negative response.
I guess worrying about something I have no control over is not in my nature.

Congress is still controlled by it's constituents. No different than yesterday. We were supposed to trust SC Justices to be unbiased and to truthfully interpret the constitution before, why won't that happen now? No Little Red Hen, the sky is not falling altho, I would assume there will be a extension of the ammo/reloading component shortage due to the banic buying of folks.

Sorry but you are looking out the window. The SC was the only thing between the constitution and what ever the dems want to do. They now have the power to add 4 more justices, make territories a state so they add Dem senate seats. I would lay money that if the last seat in GA not called goes to the Dems and its now 50.2 in favor of the dems with only 2 percent not counted then Mags over 10 rounds are banned, AR15s and other semi autos are going to be NFA or banned. Now weather that means no grandfathering or not I don't' know. I was not just dropped off the turnip truck. I clearly remember in the 92 election they passed a bill that banned magazines and guns. They are even more determined now and they have learned from past mistakes. So my bet is the loop holes will not be so easy to find like the thumb hole stocks and other BS. If you think its all going to be fine and no bans are coming all I can say is you have your head in the sand.

The sky isn't falling. It's FALLEN.

There is now NOTHING off the table, and NOTHING to stop it from happening.

There will be NO "loop holes"... apart from the ones that the proponents leave for THEMSELVES and their cohorts.

Me too, what exactly happened when we put our outrage to work after Clinton signed the AWB and we put in a Republican POTUS, Senate and House? What laws did they put in place to ensure we wouldn’t wind up where we are right now?

It’s a sad day when the best we can hope and vote for is a lesser of two evils. Not only does it hurt voter turnout out for our side but also forces me to vote for people who are going to take away my freedoms and rights, just less of them...

If you don’t know that, someone else’s head is in the sand.

The nra will protect or rights, I mean look at the Trump administration and all they did to sell your community out.... (bump stock ban)

Look at what the Republican party did to protect your rights..... ( national concealed fail, hearing protection fail)

The power rest in your hands not old white guys who can't tell you the price of a gallon of milk that get elected every 4 years, look at Virginia when they were under siege look at the thousands of armed Patriots that came to the Capitol and look how it changed the tone of the conversation.

Laws can be changed, if we had a SCOTUS that would stand up for the constitution and the integrity of the election procces we would have no issues.

Read it and weep, everyone who was suppossed to know about it, knew about it:

Don’t forget they were nice enough to allow D’s to say “Even a Republican POTUS, didn’t allow any grandfathering.”... destroy or become a criminal, zero compensation.

Congress is controlled by the urban areas, pure & simple.

Another “If”...

I figure it’s just a matter of another “interpretation”. With Trump, bump stocks went away because they could cause a semiauto’s trigger to be pulled and released once for each and every shot legally but at a rate of fire they didn’t like.

They couldn’t just open back up the registry (Closed May 19, 1986 signed by Regan with (R) Senate) because then what would they do once they went after all semiautos?

We all know they too can be bumpfired, don’t need a sliding stock. What?, put all semiautos in the MG registry? Millions would be select fire as soon as the paper work went through.

Nope, destroy or become a criminal.

My plan since Clinton and other (D) actually passed the AWB with a sunset provision, has been to take every D voter that I know shooting. If I can’t change their mind on other issues, I just might bring them over on my side on others.

You like Bernie, want to kill babies, and learn about “activism” in college someone else has to pay for? Might as well enjoy AR’s, can’t help you with the other stuff.

That is our only hope when “they” control everything, that there are enough of them that might change their vote next time. They already know we are the chicken pecking the same button, if a piece of corn falls out or not...

This is not speculation. No longer will an elected representative at any level be able to go against the party line "because I'm only representing my constituents." They will learn better at their next primaries.

Congratulations, Messrs. Soros and Bloomberg.
