Can anyone help me find or sell me some small pistol primers? Im having a hard time trying to locate any. Thanks guys
Any help offered is greatly appreciated

I got some by being diligent about checking online retailers throughout the day. It took me two weeks, but I was able to score small pistol primers. I came back from lunch and checked and there they were! Be sure to create an account and have all your billing information already entered. This way, you can 'Add to Cart' and checkout quickly before they are all sold out.

I was in Scheels in Plano, TX the other day... they had SPP's. They are out there, you just have to be diligent. Online sources... setup alerts to be notified when they come in stock, but you have to be fast when you get notified.

People wanting to BST supplies ought to list their home state with the message. I have lots of primers that I would sell or trade, BUT will not or cannot ship them to other states due to shipping regulations, or just the plain high cost of Hazmat.

Thanks for the replys guys. Im in Asheville NC and would love to have a network of fellow reloaders. Unfortunately none of my friends are into reloading.

That's the truth. There sure are a lot of non-reloaders out there. A guy I know wanted to know how and asked me to teach him, so I did. His verdict at the end? Too complicated. Back to factory ammo. In his defense, he is in his seventies. Not much time to learn all of those little things I learned over the last 40 years.

Unfortunately, now is not a good time to be looking for reloading components. Or just about anything else gun related.

You have to watch various web sites like a hawk, strike quickly, and hope.

If, and when, supplies get back to normal levels, be prepared to stock up and rotate your inventory as you re-supply.

should have taught him with that Lee set that all you need is a hammer

I think all young people should learn to make their own ammo. then they won’t go hoarding at Academy

What's your definition / perception of "young people"?

Well none of that has any context about who you want to be barred from buying ammo at Academy. Guess you're too young yourself by your post contents which suits me fine.

I know not only I define myself as old enough to do so but more objective measures show I'm old enough. Done it before and I'll probably do it again. Reloading components too, powder & primes, past & probable future.

Not offended honestly curious since your profile doesn't include your age.

between 3yo and 85yo

This is pretty restrictive, but it won't affect me personally and simple statistics sys you're likely in this range as well.

I’m 42 but feel like 28 and look like 32

I don't see what this has to do with buying ammo at Academy no matter if doing so meets some subjective definition / perception of "hoarding".

Keep an eye on the ....Where are reloading components available thread. Times are hard.
