I'm hoping to see 40.00 or so.
The sad reality with this next admin we may never see low prices again!

All you folks saying you won't pay more than 30-40 bucks had better find a new hobby.

Just wait. There will be restrictions on shipping components and parts, like we never seen before.

The importation of primers can be stopped with the stroke of a pen, and look who's holding the pen now ! I believe that $100/k will be cheap in 2 years.

I will pay what the prices are if and when I need them. An additional tax added to primers can make them 2x or 10x more expensive. Take cigarette prices as an example. A $3.00 pack with Federal and state taxes can cost $15.00. People still buy them.

I'll pay fair market value depending on if it fits my discretionary spending allowance.

The political site has a different ip.

Not saying prices will return to $35/1000. But I do remember primer prices at least doubling after Clinton took office, and the guys selling them at inflated prices saying they would never come down. A couple years later prices returned to nearly what they were before.

What we think doesn't always happen.

The poll should have an option for market value.

Perhaps so since it is the market (hoarders) alone that are driving up prices. The number of rounds being sent down range has not increased enough to explain the huge market increase (demand).

If the Fed adds more tax, that will be the new market value as well. Do I like that ? No but I still will shoot and eventually will need to buy more so I will pay that price.

It's impossible to tell what the future will bring but I agree with the above post. My LGS has some primers he's selling for $15/100 and I buy the limit of 200 every time I go there. I would buy a couple bricks if I were allowed even though I have several thousand primers on hand since I think this will be a very long shortage.

Sure I remember buying those same primers for $3/100 early last year but I don't think we'll ever see that price again and I fully expect prices to remain obscenely high for the foreseeable future.
