Knife arrived yesterday. Nice piece of work.I just ordered that Doug Ritter for my Grandson's next birthday. Knife Works is great, my usual go to source for knives.

I've been very pleased to take mine along on finer dining excursions as a *steak-knife*.I needed a nice letter opener and cheese slicer for special occasions. I've always liked the 'Shepards Cross' done in brass pins on the side.

Can't really say that I do. Solid build and design for sure. But the ergonomics just do not work for me.Total game changer for me. Hope you like it
Never heard of that concept before. What release type do they have?Buck 110 and 112 conversions to auto.
I had one back in the 90's, they made a pivoting brass insert into the left scale for the release. I replaced it with a D/A Microtech LCC Lightfoot.Never heard of that concept before. What release type do they have?

Thanks for that. So you use the button to open but the original release to close?I had one back in the 90's, they made a pivoting brass insert into the left scale for the release. I replaced it with a D/A Microtech LCC Lightfoot.
The one I had was a conversion, but now Buck themselves are making them.

I've really been drawn back to trappers and stockmen's knives the last several-few years.Bought a pair of yellow handle Case mini Trappers for my kids. I’m fond of the Trapper pattern, personally.
