WOW!! That is expensive!!
I have shot the American Gunner ammo before. I have several boxes in 380, 9mm, and 45acp,
It's good ammo just lower on the Hornady price scale?
I last bought 9mm at Bass Pro last Tuesday, $64.95 per 200 rounds of WWB, and there was a good stock left after the line died down. You have to get there the morning the truck comes in, and in Colorado Springs, that seems to be Tuesdays. They also had 380 at $49.95 per 100 rounds.
25 rounds per boxHey, Jasper... how many rounds per box? 100?
That's a beautiful thing. Love the pic.Glad I have plenty of self defense bullets to reload. Picked up a batch of 9mm HST bullets the other week. Picked up 500 of them to load up!

Yeah I actually have some bonded ranger I got for a steal, I believe it's Q4364. The RA9T isn't bonded is it, the T series? I know one of them had a massive recall. I don't keep any of it loaded, I test fired a few and they work but I couldn't carry them knowing they could have bad primers or whatever. I just store them away. Check your lots maybe just to be sure you don't have the dud stuff people were complaining of...Just dried out 1200 rounds of 9mm brass! I swore up and down years ago that I would never reload 9mm because it was not cost efficient. And here I am!
And to the OP, it's apparently not too expensive for "you." If it's too expensive you don't buy it! These days, anything not FMJ in 9mm would be considered decent SD ammo if it's all you can get. HST and Ranger T are my go to self defense handgun rounds. I have plenty. I put Gold Dots in a close third place!
I have a few cases of the 9mm Ranger T series. I think I could retire if I sold them!
