Any 40s&w Fans?

The 180 HST is what my G22 is loaded with. A good shooting easy handling round, for me. I don’t see much difference between the .40 in the G22 and my Gen3 G17 shooting the +P or +P+ 9mm I often shoot.

When I shot in GSSF, I was told I had to abandon .40 S&W in favor of 9mm if I ever wanted to get the magic 500 score. So I bought a G19. I fine tune my reloads for maximum accuracy and minimal recoil. I noticed that to get the same accuracy as my .40 S&W loads, my 9mm loads had the same recoil. My scores stayed the same.

In a compact Tupperware, the subsonic 180 gr. HP is the way to go.

A little more "snap" than a 9mm... but more of a push... and, well... more.

My Shield .40 works great. Quite snappy.

Got a FNX40 & a HK P30L both in 40sw. Both shoot nice and crisp, dead on. Load both also. My carry round is Barnes Tac-XP 140 gr. FNX also shoots the .357 sig. I bought a xtra barrel. The price of 9mm ammo now a days. Its almost not worth getting a 9mm. Its definitely not cheap to shoot.

I prefer the .40 over the 9mm. At some point, I just kept buying 9mm, and then I sold the one .40 I had. I was cleaning out the safe the other day and found a box of .40. Thought I could sell this. Nah, so I bought a Glock 22. Now the Glock feels overwhelmed with all the Sig 9mms, so she's asked for some friends of her own caliber to hang with.
