Anyone know if this revolver is still available? That Lipsey’s version is very nice I think.

I've wanted a Bearcat Shopkeeper for a long time, but I just can't seem to pull the trigger when I've twice, years apart, held one. Maybe it's because my M63 would get jealous?

I saw one (didn't hold it) at Academy about 8 months ago.

That short ejector stroke is why I prefer to shoot .22 Shorts in my Shopkeeper.

I bought mine used a few years ago on a Father's Day sale at a LGS when prices weren't ludicrous.
I was referring to the droopy-looking nature of the *crescent* ejector rod button that they did on purpose. Looks..... unfinished to me.

Todd.

Gotcha. Yep, that was to clear the cylinder's center pin to gain that extra 1/8" of ejector stroke. And also to allow easier center pin removal as the center pin would hit a standard ejector button when pulling straight out.

Sometimes it's best not to look at that side of the gun. :D

Aha - then completely functional. Thanks for the explanation.

I guess I should be happy that it even has one unlike the *BarKeep*.

Todd.
