Bought a Kimber Micro 9 yesterday.

Had the Micro out yesterday to test some 124gr handloads. Again I was amazed at how well this pistol pointed and shot for a small 9mm.

Reading this resurrected post was all the inspiration I needed to avail a new Kimber Micro 9 for myself. Picked up a Rapide Black Ice model while visiting my LGS today looking for ammo.

I bought a brand new FDE one, with a Crimson Trace laser in the grip, from Cabela’s. It’s the first and only pistol I ever shot that made one hole in the target from a full magazine (7yards). I recently sold it for about $150 more than I paid. 031A24C5-FAAF-43B8-83DF-5929BE09876C.png

To bad it didn't work out for you. Shooting and mastering a short pistol takes some time. I paid my dues with DAO snub-nosed revolvers and what I learned from them has carried over to everything else I've shot. Grip and trigger press is king.

Amen. That was my problem with my Ruger LC9 1st Gen. Was narrow gripped and had a loooong dao trigger pull. This was before the striker fired LC9S. Between the grip and trigger I over gripped causing the shots to group considerably low left. Only if I was very thoughtful did it shoot straight. NOT want you want in a defensive pistol. On the other hand the Micro9 is point and shoot for me ... your results may vary.
