What ammo are you finding and for how much?

I'm in good shape, ammo wise, although sometime I'll pick up yet more rimfire at Wal-Mart at pre shortage prices. What i could use is .30 carbine for my new M1, but I won't pay the inflated price.
The Korean surplus can still be had at pre panic prices. I bought a can of 1000 something back then, and thought it over priced, but it does come in bandoliers on stripper clips.

Last ammo bought at LGS was ELEY Target .22 LR (great ammo BTW if your gun likes it), and last ammo bought online was 6.5 Carcano (pure luck to find it momentarily in stock). I have some 7.62 NATO ordered but hasn't shipped yet.

My LGS (no internet sales) had hundreds of boxes of 9mm 124gr.Syntech @ $21.99 and AE @ $19.95
Been there for nearly a week.
A month ago they had 1000 50rd ct. Blazer 22lr. @ 4.99/bx. which took three weeks to sell.

Two more 125 round cartons of CCI Maxi-mag .22 magnum at Walmart last night. 22 bucks and change, each. Got this same thing a month or so ago, wonder if I'm simply lucky to get the last two, or if it doesn't sell? Normally, Walmart has zero ammo on the shelves.

In the last 7 days I have picked up 1,200 primers ($3.99 per 100) mixture of SR, LP, and LR.
Two pounds of powder (4350 and 2400... $34 and $25 respectively)
4 bricks of federal 22 lr @ $23/each.
400 rounds of 9mm at .28 cents /round

This all from a local hardware store that doesn’t sell online. They still get shipments ever couple of weeks just have to catch it quick as it sells out within a day. A couple of times we had problems with the delivery truck driver seeing what he was hauling, calling him buddys from 5 hours away to come line up outside the store when it opened and buying all the large cases... grrr!

Also scored a good pile of milsurp.308 for .62 cents a round at the gun show last weekend.
I see plenty of ammo available at higher prices but I have my thresholds that I’m not willing to go above and I’ve stuck to them. No problems yet. I encourage others to do likewise...

Again the problem is not finding the regular ammo With a little persistence and a little cash can find 9mm, 22, 38, whatever.

The problem, like after the Sandy Hook tragedy, is the odd ball stuff. Only this time it is much more widespread. It even reached very common calibers like .243 and 30-30. Never mind .41 mag.

Last year at this time I could go to any real gun store and buy just about anything that had been manufactured in the last 20 years, from .375 Win to .45 auto rim. Now it is all gone. Again.

Went to the show in Orlando yesterday. More ammo than I've seen in a while from a number of dealers. Prices were still ridiculous, but not quite as bad as, say, a month ago. Some reduction.

Saw plenty of 32acp, 9, 40, 45, 223, 7.62x39, and 308. Some 12ga buckshot. No 20ga buck. No 327 Fed Mag either, but I wasn't really surprised about that one.

Two tables had some expensive powder, one had large primers (both), and reloadable brass.

I have yet to figure out when my local Wal-Mart gets ammo. The staff offer no insights either

Academy today had a sizeable amount of WWB 9mm NATO for $18.99.

They also had a large number of WWB 223 vale packs for about $120 a box.

The few boxes of Aguila 357 mag were taken by the first handful of people ahead of me online.

They had a small amount of 40 S&W, 308, 22lr, 12 gauge target loads, etc

I hit walmart today and saw they had 100 round boxes of 12ga 8 shot for 22 bucks. They also had 3006 Federal for 17 bucks a box. I bought two of the 3006 and one of the 100 round 12 ga and it rang up 38 bucks. Not sure what happened but I took it.

Stopped by the LGS and scored Winchester White Box 5.56 for $14.24 a box, limit of two. A little high, but it's one of the few calibers I don't reload for, so I grab it when I come across it.

Also grabbed another Ruger BX-25 magazine for my 10/22. Was surprised to see all of the Magpul 5.56 magazines gone. I have all I need, but it looks like the rush on those has finally begun.

Participated in the Hastings Nebraska gun show last weekend (19-20 March 2021) I didn't sell any ammo but I usually don't.

A number of vendors had handgun ammunition at higher prices than any of us want to think is 'normal'. Very few scalpers, but all prices seemed to be 'premium'. Good promise for the future I'm hoping. Local gun shops are sparse to non-existant. Ammunition orders seem to come in, but are quickly purchased. (.375 H&H and larger calibers seem to be about as normal.)

I stopped at a local pawn shop here and they had the bucket of 22 Remington for 350. Yep 350 samolians. INSANE. He said they are getting it. Not from me. I put back about 50000 rounds of 22 when it came back into cheap after the sandy hook thing. People try to tell me it only is good for a couple of years. But that is BS. I have shot 22lr that my GGF had and I inherited that he bought in the 30s and it functioned to the tune of about 85 percent. And he kept it in his garage so it was not even climate controlled.

Sportsman's, Cabelas, Bass Pro..all occasionally have the above. 9MM for 'about' $16-$18 per 50..online, anywhere from $.57 to $.75 per round so($30 per 50)...unless ya GOTTA have it, the sooner 'consumers' stop buying at these INFLATED prices, the sooner the online places will stop charging these very high prices.

Same here, but it's where I do my shopping, as there's nothing else up here close. So I simply look every time I'm in there, and normally the shelves are empty. We have locals that live so close they know when the trucks are there and how long it takes for them to be stocked. They call all their friends and the same guys pretty much clean them out each time. That's right from the sporting goods counter guy. Can't figure out why I've gotten the last two cartons of .22 mag, twice, but I'll take whatever I can get, as I'm not that guy that lives to spy on Walmart's parking lot.

I hit my Wal-Mart today and they must have had a case of CCI 22 Mag on the shelf.

Walmart Mini Mag
Maxi Mags
20 ga slugs
7.62 x5
30-06 x3
...and about 100 boxes of 12 ga x100 7.5 & 8 shot
10 boxes AA 7.5
Bought my 3 boxes...thanked the employees...
First time I've been there right after stocking.

For the past 3+ months the only thing I can find with any regularity is 22 lr .

Even 12 gauge is gone.

I stayed positive about it for a long time, but it's a bummer. Not one to wallow, adapt is the word of the day (or year).

I did the only logical thing and bought a Ruger wrangler for 220 out the door. The silver variety.

Tons of fun, can hit the range with regularity and know I can pick up another box of fifty. Mostly Aquila for under 4 /50 for interceptors.
