Of all the current Sig pistols what would be your pick?

None, AFAIK they all have rails (rails are anathema to me) and I have enough of the old style (rail less) Sigs. They lost at least one potential customer (maybe more) by not offering their handguns without a rail.

If I had the money to go out and buy a brand new Sig it would either be a P226 or 1911 Tacops.

As so many have stated, the 226 or the 220. And
to note, the 210.

I'm a Beretta 92 proponent when it comes to autos
but I have a warm spot in my heart for the Sigs that
I cited.

Nothing else!

The rest of the autos being produced today
are all junk. (Well, OK, I would allow a 1911.)

I think I've now covered all the bases re: auto
pistols.

Another vote for the P365XL.

+1 on the Tacops. I tried to find one I could own, but ended up with something else.

I owned a 365 sold it, hated it, if I won a 365 or 320 Id sell those too. It's the flavor of the month, and now an outdated flavor since 2 new tasty models came around. A P210 or P226 are classics

P229 legacy slide model, could be railed or not, original grips before the E2 craziness. Von Stavenhagen sights (bar/dot) would make it even sweeter.

Any caliber, 9/40/357.

Edit to add: DA/SA only. DAK and DAO are garbage.

I have had a few Sigs. Currently I own a P220 and last year I bought the M17 and put the Wilson Combat grip module on it. Love that gun.

Tough choice. Rattler or 220 10mm

One to rule them all:

SIG Sauer P220 X-Six .45 ACP with 9mm Para conversion unit.

None. I won't buy a current production Sig but If I was using one as a fundraiser I would get a current production P210 which is a P210 in name only but still a decent gun.

I was told the new production shoo as well as the post war.
Please shed some light over my keyboard.
Since I gave up on STG44 22, after the Remington SA the P210 is the only have to have some day.
My problem is the my wish is very slow to shrink lately.

czhen, Groups down around 1" at 25 yds. with American 210s have been reported. Having owned various 210s since the '80s, I don't think there's actually much, if any, difference in accuracy potential between Swiss, German and American examples.

BTW, I had a German X-5 back when they were still being imported by SIG. It shot just as well as the 210s, and I might have recommended one of those if they were still available direct from SIG...

I vote for the Sig 320 VTAC, 4.7" bbl. Romeo 1 Pro red dot.

Thank you Rock185, so it is a matter of time they will put more in the market.
The German X-5 is a great pistol, hard to get though, but the design of the trigger in the P210 is a genius idea easy to pull apart and service. 25 years ago when I've got to know about P210, Glock polymers and AR's where in Vogue but no where to find them.
Hopefully I will catch a fly in my lifetime.

This would probably be my only move away from my EDC Glock.

P320 RXP XCOMPACT

It says something about the Sig company that they seem to have so many different offerings that folks consider compelling or top notch. Interesting to read through the responses.

All I can add is that the connoisseurs on this forum may not represent the broader public (or even broader gun community.) I myself would love a P210. But when I happened to mention that to a former ranger/firearms instructor/trained Glock and Sig armorer, he looked at me blankly and had no clue what the 210 was. “That’s one of their older models right?” So if I were picking a gun for raffle purposes I’d probably keep it something the average shooter has heard of and would like to own -or have a duplicate of- like a P365, P226 Legion, or P320.

I will attest to the fact that of all the folks I've seen get introduced to, and get to shoot, the P-226 Legion SAO quickly deem it their new favorite range toy...

The M17/M18 does have that "our military uses it" pizzaz that is pretty common/fun in raffles.

I have always told myself if I happen to come across a P226 at a decent price, I'd have to buy it, the M18 entered into it when I was at the range one day and a guy wanted to try my G19 so he was obliged to offer me to shoot his M18 and I did, and really liked it....
