P220s are my favorite Sig & yes, they are excellent, inherently accurate pistols.

Early W. German .38 Supers have rolled slides, alloy frames & heel mag releases. The last of the .38s (early-‘90s) have machined slides & frames (some with rails) & conventional (US) mag releases. Surprisingly, between the two, the later models come up for sale less often than do the early, heel-release models.

It’s worth mentioning that way back in the day, P220s were also chambered for the .30 Luger & the 9mm Steyr (9x23). Those two & the .38 Super are the only firearms that I would ever consider moving a P7 or two for & if ever such a move came to pass, the first place the trio would go is to the range.

Still want that cherry Mossberg 352. Have always wanted one, had a perfect one lined up and it was snatched disingenuously by another family member.o_O I'll always be pissed about that. Can't seem to find one that hasn't been beaten on, but I will. But, since that's a rifle, the others that can wait, as they are horrendously expen$ive are S&W model 52, Detonics Scoremaster in either .45ACP or .451 D-mag, and LAR Grizzly in .45 Win Mag. Oh and a Colt Diamondback .22LR.

I had a Browning BDA in .45 and man could that gun flat out shoot! We use to take it and a Colt Gold Cup to the range and take turns shooting one gun against the other. With Match ammo and fixed sights that BDA had no problem keeping up with the Gold Cup in the accuracy department.

Should have bought the .38 Super version...just because; (and the 9mm. too)!

The thing of it was that the BDAs in .38 Super and 9mm. both sat on dealer's shelves because there was like zero interest in them; that is outside of a handful of BDA .45 owners who knew how great these guns really were! I mean full size, fixed sights, single stack magazine, semi-autos in 9mm. were slow sellers to begin with while the .38 Super was just flat out totally ignored!

It is actually a 4", but with the comp, S&W calls it a 5". You need one Dudedog if you're a recoil junkie like me.

It's worth it. I picked up a minty one about 2 years ago and it's the most comfortable gun I've ever put in my hand. Fun to shoot too.
 
I recently inherited my Grandfather’s set of Colt Gold Cup 1911 frames. Unfortunately, the 38 Super is “missing” (in another family member’s collection).

if I can find a 38 Super to match the set, I’d buy it in a heart beat!

This was on my "Must Have" list for many years. I found this Baby Browning for a really great price at my local gun shop over 10 years ago. It was like new in the original box and came with the manual. While the grips aren't the real thing, I'm fine with the faux pearl look. Kind of like I'm okay with the faux ivory look too!

Awesome. There's just something special about a shiny silver metal and pearl grips combo.
 
A blued 6 7/8 Ruger Mk II to go with the stainless one I have, a nice Series 70 Gold Cup, a 9mm Ruger SR1911, and a WWI service 1911, and a WWII service Victory revolver.

There's a NIB Colt with a $2K price on it at my LGS - it's on consignment. DEEP high gloss bluing job; real purty...........
 
After purchasing a Schofield pellet revolver, I now have the itch for the real thing. Had a H&R Sportsman, but gave that to one of my granddaughters. It will take me about six Sundays of overtime to pay for one. Question is......can I find one?

4.S&W Model 27 Blue 3-1/2 inch
5. S&W Model 52
6. Nighthawk 1911
7. Luger P-08 with matching numbers

As prices go up and scarcity sets in my bucket developed a huge hole. An AR I paid $519 shipped for at PSA 2 years ago is now $810 plus $17 shipping. Black powder seems to be a little less volatile lately so I bought this Uberti Colt Walker a couple of months ago. It had been on my bucket list for years 4-F7-F3432-5-C73-461-E-B359-E3-DDAF84-D7-D7.jpg
