What is the last gun that you bought?

Can't go wrong with a Shield...outstanding range and carry guns IMO. I haven’t handled the plus yet.
I didn't really think I'd ever be "that guy," dedicated to one line of pistols...., but this is my third Shield.
Shield 9, 1.0
Shield 45, 2.0, 4",
Shield +

Size-wise, the Plus is very close to the 1.0 and 2.0. The texture is closer to the 2.0, though. IMHO, YMMV.

In an unusual sequence of events, I have bought two Gemini Customs SP101 revolvers, one in early March, and another this past weekend, from the same LGS. Each was pre-owned, but pristine. This follows the pair of nicely-preserved S&W Model 64 snub-guns I managed to find in 2020, a year that saw my three G19 Glocks traded away. (My right hand is aging-out of being trusted to provide a reliable platform for cycling autos.)

Dun gone dood it again .....

I purchased another rifle of historic interest. Lgs had a 1860 Henry rifle in .44-40. They don't now; I bought it earlier today. This one is not Uberti or Miroku (Miroku doesn't even make a 1860), it's the Henry Rifle version of the gun. Yup, the Anthony Imperatu "made in America or not made at all" company. It's a darn expensive version but it is incredibly nice. Excellent slick action, and the brass has a nice shine to it.

I know there's purists on this forum that disdain Henry because they did sort of "usurp" the Henry name and have no actual connection to Benjamin Tyler Henry or the namesake company that evolved into Winchester. Let's not whip that puppy here. Henry makes some very nice rifles and I think their version of the 1860 is an excellent rifle. The barrel has a shiny lustrous bluing and the wood on the rifle is very nice. It even has the trap on the butt plate for a collapsible cleaning rod.

It has a spot in my gun safe right next to my Miroku 1866, which is next to my Miroku 1873 longrifle, which is in turn next to my Miroku 1892 takedown Winchester rifle. :)

Definitely feels better in the hand than a Glock

I've owned and carried several (and the only on-duty shooting I was involved in, I used a Glock)...G19 (x3), G22 (x3), G23, G26, G27, G45...but I still can't make myself like them.

Also...this evening I talked my dad into selling me back my old 4506 I carried on duty circa 1996 that I had sold to him years ago.
