I had this 7.5" Ruger Blackhawk in .45 Colt stolen out of my truck on Christmas Eve. It was set up for deer hunting with an Ultradot 30 and I had a chest rig for it too.

I would like to replace that before deer season rolls around.
It doesn't have to be a carbon copy of what I had stolen, but I want a long barreled big bore revolver I can set up for hunting.

I like the one on Gordon’s wishlist so much I got two :D

Ever since I saw a full sized S&W top break a few years ago in the Bishop Museum in Honolulu that was used in an attempted counter coup there I've had a hankering for one.

Maybe this is the year....

This year I am trying to find a fixed sighted, 3" (maybe 4") medium framed .357. I would love a 3" 65 or a 3" 3/4 Lug GP100. Being in CA it is very hard to buy used guns because of our handgun roster. If I am unsuccessful, I think I will get a 4" GP100 MC with fixed sights.

A 4" GP-100 is one of the best to own. But I would get the adjustable sighted version. Not so much because they are adjustable but because the sight picture is so much better. The high profile sights on the MC should also be good to go. Its most likely sighted in for the 158gr range of bullets. That works for me. I prefer the heavier bullets myself anyway.

The model 10 is just one of the best you can own. See my Sig line.
I have a love of fixed sight revolvers. I had, and regrettably traded a 581, I have a 642, a 360, a 58, a 10, and a Colt Night Cobra. I would love to get my hands on a model 520. (NY State police fixed sight Highway Patrolman). Fixed sight guns may not always shoot to point of aim, but they ALWAYS shoot to the same point.

My fixed sight model 65, model 10 with 6” barrel and model 10 HB all seem to shoot close to the sights as long as you stay with the original bullet weight of 158grs or real close to that. It’s the same with the three 32 Long revolvers I own. Stick with bullets that weigh around 100grs and the sights are very close. I do like fixed sight guns and never turn my nose up at a deal on one.

Mine will be here tomorrow and I'll take a better picture. Model 29-5 44 Mag "Hostiles" from the Twelve Revolvers series. I hope it shoots as well as my "Through the Line" 44 special!

It will shoot as well as any of the "Mare's Leg" offerings that are currently popular. Joe

Not sure which one yet, but a .357 or 10mm double action. The longer the barrel the better. If I stumble across a 8” cyclops again I might be in trouble with SWMBO
I wanted one of those soooo bad when they were first released......

I had the weirdest sensation the other day but I was looking in my gun cabinet..... There's nothing that I really want right now.
If anything 2021 will be the year of the revolver for me.

Some form of long-barreled 357 I think, I really enjoy my little 692 with its 2.75, But that thing is super offensive with earplugs in I can only imagine it without.

The other option would be a Ruger GP 100 in 10 mm
