I would be really happy to fall on a leg of unique. I'm towing the line for 3 shooters and only planned for 2. My 80 year old neighbor shoots my stuff and I dont mind but I wasnt initially geared up for 38 357 but I'm making the swing. 30 cal bullets are in low supply and I finally found a 300 yard range which is worth the effort imo. Not messing with under 100.

I think I'm good with most components, at my age what I really need is better eyes where the new 25 yards is not 7.:(
Heard. And seconded. I’m so far sighted now I can’t use a scope. I have to wear glasses to see the reticle and that creates parallax. Irons aren’t much better. Good thing I have reflexes for a backup. ;)

I had to vote that I had everything I needed, but only because you left out dies as an option!!

They seem to be sold out everywhere or one meeelion dollars when I do find one

Berger 6MM 105 Gr Hybrids, got caught short, but do have a bit over 500 now.

CCI-450 primers, only 500+ left. I do have options there though, plenty of SR primers.

what does do you need?

what does do you need?

I’m most interested in 308 but would entertain pre pandemic prices on 45, 6.5 creedmoor and possibly others. I currently reload 300 blackout, 223, 38/357 and 9mm and figured I’d just have to end up hunkering down with those until the chaos passed

I could use some SPPs.

Fortunately, I’ve found a brick and a 1/2 of SRPs in the last 4 months but I have less than a brick of SPPs. I’ve loaded plinking rounds (750+) with SRPs just because that’s what I have most of.

I have a nearly a brick of LPPs I would trade in a heartbeat.

Sorry. I also left off pistol powders and cap-n-ball components. The list was getting a little long.

Oh, now that you mention that... I just recently bought a couple of cap and ball revolvers, and I don't have any percussion caps at all!
I did manage to pick up the bullets, the wads, and several pounds of Pyrodex, but no caps! :(

Wads? They aren't nessasary, I have used grits or cream of wheat for 20 + years works great and already have breakfast good on hand. It's cheaper than wadding as well.

For me just pistol primers. Was able to pick some up here and there on-line a month or so ago from places like Bass Pro, Powder Valley and Recob's. Not so lucky lately. I'm in the middle of nowhere, so on-line is my only reasonable option. In any event, I've got enough to go for awhile and remain optimistic. I'll stop shooting before going to gunbroker.

how many primers are you going to buy when things settle out... Me 20,000 of each probably
I'll probably just start with 5000 of each, but won't wait until I get to a 1000 to order my next batch, probably every 3000 until I get a decent stock. Though a 1000 SPM primers will last me a long time since they are only for a specialty round out of my SA 357 (the one in the avatar picture).

I've been doing pretty well, only a couple things I haven't been able to find anywhere. Namely AR Comp and 7mm 160gr Accubonds. Neither are "need now" items, but I will nab as much as they'll let me when they do come back into stock.

I've quit shooting and put the guns away. When this BS is over maybe I'll start again, maybe not. I do have a life outside of pulling the trigger.
