Distinguished.
52 years almost every day.
So far, so good.

There are two things I do not leave my house without: 1) my pistol, 2) my license to carry a firearm.

Consistently.
Long time retired, so no "work exception" either. For that matter, the only "work" I do is around the house, and I'm usually carrying a gun then too - especially if I'm outside.
No permit/license required in most places in Idaho for legal concealed carry. However, an Idaho "Enhanced" Concealed Carry License is required for legal concealed carry on Idaho's college and university campuses. And seeing as how my wife and I end up on campus at ISU occasionally, we took the class and got our licenses the summer before last.
On the other hand, my wife still works part-time for our church, and one of her jobs is going to the post office to collect the church's mail from the PO box. So if I'm in town, I occasionally go to the post office for my wife, and when I do, I kinda feel like my fly's open because I left my gun locked in the truck parked out beside the street.

Distinguished-minus. Always carrying, but guns are selected as much for style and pleasure, as for practical purposes.

I guess I would be “distinguished”.....though, have never been described with that term! As long as I’m in my home state, no license is required! However, if I have my wallet.....I have my license! memtb

Distinguished, though my "preferred firearm" changes at times.

How about putting it to a poll?

Bingo....nuff said.

If I'm dressed, I'm armed. After the last legislative session there are only a handful of places I can't carry now, mostly prisons and some college properties, plus Federal properties, where nobody can carry unless they have a badge.

Next time the IRS wants to talk to me, they're going to have to come down to the parking lot. If they're polite, I might let them sit on the tailgate.

I have been carrying for almost 15 years. Only time in that period I was disarmed was for 6ish months while my permit was temporarily revoked. Only time I disarm going in is if they have a metal detector. I think that would put me in distinguished category.

Guess that'd be distinguished. Pants on, gun on, every day where legal.

Don't compromise shootability for concealment, I have a metric I require in performance and any carry gun needs to meet it.

I guess I’m an apprentice. I work on a military base and my firearms stay home any time I’m headed to work.

I don’t typically carry at home but I do have guns prepositioned throughout the house.

I carry when I go out and am not headed to a military base.

When I retire in a few years, I’ll rarely go on base. Sucks but it’s my reality.

I rarely go onto a military base for work. If I have to work on a base it is at least a few hours drive one way from my home. Due to that, I can't even carry in my car since I have to drive onto the base to where the work is.

There are reportedly pawn shops near bases that will store a gun for you when you need to drive on a base. But pawn shops usually don't open early enough for me to do so, and I really need to get on base and get the job completed since I need to drive the few hours back home.

Which means when I have an out of town job on a military base, I don't have any kind of gun with me for at least an entire day.

Actually, it's much worse for me when I have to do a job or training in a state where my carry license isn't recognized. Which is at least a whole week at a time, but that's rare too.

Yeah, that's tough since you can't keep it in your car during the work day either.

My business

Started carrying in 1982 , Will be 72 this September .

I can't carry at work, but they do give me a locked secured box to place it in, so otherwise if I am awake and not in the shower, I am armed. Constitutional Carry state, and work credentials help.

I’d say semi-proficient at best...but that may be bragging!

Distinguished +, I am always armed if I am awake. I also avoid gun free zones.
If I can't protect myself and my loved ones because I'm a law abiding citizen I just wont go there since the bad guys obviously can't read the no gun signs.
