I just trade for a SD40VE. I haven't shot it yet.I had a Sigma 9mm some years ago. So far at least this trigger seems less gritty feeling. So my only added two words;

Better than a Sigma?

Prices are rising even on these.

Yeah, several places had them for $250-$270.
I bought a new Ruger SR9 for $250 from Sportsman’s Warehouse instead.

That's about the price I remember them at. My buddy bought one at the BX and it was pretty darn cool.

Lucrative

Clunker

but I bought mine from a guy at work knowing it had cycling issues and I fixed that with a couple boxes of +p+ ammo that smoothed the gun out to about 97% reliable. One mag just sucked. After I did that I sold it and made enough to cover the ammo and have a bit left over which at that time undoubtedly went to the bar across the street from where I was working.

I bought one recently, I kinda regret it a little along with the Victory .22 I got at the same time. There's a thread for my Victory issues, but my SDVE shot left all the time. Wasnt til I was home and saw the rear sight was to the right right out of the box from SW. It was cheap, it needs a trigger job though and a spring kit is about $20 off EBay.

I should say my regret lies more in not getting the nice used 3rd gen S&W 9mm auto when i bought my 2 new S&W and they both had problems right out of the box

Not

Bad

My ffl buddy just got one in. Like it better than any of the glocks ive shot.
Beyond that its another one of those "meh" guns.
I didnt find the trigger horribly offensive, it pointed well, and went bang everytime. My buddy is supposed to be getting an Apex trigger for it as well.... maybe it will climb up a bit higher in the ranking.
