Thanks. I don't know how I did not know about this. The LCP needs all it can get. It's one of the only firearms that's OIP every day, all the time, thanks for the heads up though, I'm gonna order one tonight if I can find one. I carry the Elsie Pea occasionally.
 
There's that chinese knockoff of Benchmade all over Amazon, I forget the brand. Starts with an F maybe.

Almost bought one a few times, especially after Benchmade's little humble brag about destroying guns a year or two back.

But I mostly like my Spiderco and end up back with that eventually always.

Check out Microtech Troodon and UTX series. The infidel is ok, but I think the MT's are superior. The basic models are more reasonable, if you're looking for CF inlays and sprint runs, it's going to get expensive. Great knives for OTF's but OTF's in general never really blew my hair back.

First impressions are they are pretty fun to play with, especially the double action, but for any serious task I'd prefer a folder or fixed blade with better ergonomics.
 
I have been eyeing CobraTech knives for a while but am afraid that they are not the tool that I use a knife for.

100%. I had a Microtech UTX70 for a while and have handled a few Combat Troodans and they are excellent quality, just not suited for what I carry a knife for. If I carried one it would be on special occasions or to church or something, not for general EDC. I carry a balisong quite a bit though even though it's not really practical but I just like to fidget with it. If I had an OTF I'd probably wear out the action in a month, lol.
 
Well I liked it well enough and my wife needed an anniversary idea so I got a Microtech Ultratech with the dagger blade and full serrations on one side. I like it and the quality is excellent.

Sure I wouldn't take it as my first choice in a knife fight, but hey I'm not planning on getting into any knife fights anytime soon. That's what I carry a gun for.

Edit:. Guess I should add a picture with the new knife. Pocket dump, plus watch wallet and phone.

Just because I had the safe opened. A couple Vaqueros (mine and the wife's). The bowie is some damascus thing my wife picked up cause it was "pretty" ... Bear & Son I think. The other is caribou horn from The Ulu Factory in Alaska, that'n has spent a lot of time with me on the tundra, rivers and deer stands now that I'm back in the lower 48.

Thanks! It was kind of a fun story with those. My wife and I were in Anchorage, AK for a weekend (we lived out in the bush) and my wife, out of the blue, says "let's go buy a gun". Uh, ok, I'm always down with that so I said she could pick it out.

She chose the Vaquero (.357 mag) in stainless because it was pretty and we both were instantly converted after shooting it, just great for both of us. I liked it so much I said I was gonna take it as my hunting sidearm and she decided she didn't want me to scratch HER gun so she bought me my own by surprise some time later.

That was another out shopping and, "honey let's stop at the gun shop quick", ha!
