What is the most recent knife you bought?

I have lately become e interested in Eafengro knives, available from Amazon.com.
They claim D2 steel on some of their blades.

I bought the orange scaled flipper as a hunting knife. I like to clip it to my bibs or in my pocket.

The black scale is my newest arrival. It came today. The blade is a tanto. Very sharp and thick blade. This one may wind up as my jeep knife, if it doesn't suit me as a defensive edc.

Another ripoff of a Microtech knife. Wonder what the steel is.
Look closely, just forward of the thumb stud. It is marked D2.
Of course, they could have marked anything they want.

I like the knife. Its very sturdy, and very sharp.
I didn't realize it,but I have already become accustomed to assisted flippers. I feel I am too slow with this thumbstud opener.

I will continue my quest for a large edc knife, but I want an assisted opening flipper this time.

Yep, any company that blatantly steals the intellectual property of another successful business can't be trusted to mark anything truthfully. They might use the "equivalent" of D2, but not heat treat it (how does a fine file feel on the edge?) properly (if at all, I've encountered that).

My KnifeJoy Slysz Bluey arrived, as did two from Carothers Performance Knives, my preorder Defensive Everyday Knives.

The Slysz Bowie blue ano is much more attractive to my eye in person. It's a much darker slate blue.

The DEK1 in Delta 3V (bottom) and edge-cut antique micarta over black micarta with my matching Utility Fighter (top).

And my DEK1 in AEB-L, satin finished, swedged blade, with osage orange over black micarta handles.

Terrible picture, but my most recent is the Kizer Envoy on the bottom. I think I might have bought the last one at Blade HQ and It's my favorite Kizer and Ti frame lock thus far, just really well done for the price.

Second most recent is on the top, a KnifeJoy exclusive Para 3 in 20CV. I added a Ti deep carry clip, and that seems like a big improvement to me.

I managed to snag a TRM Neutron 2 in red micarta from the drop today, so I'll post a picture when it comes.

Buck usually doesn't announce their Buck of the Month til late in the month, but this one was announced May 4. Guess the theme?

I didn't even know Buck did a knife of the month, this pic got me looking. April's knife might have been right up my alley, it looks like Buck is doing some interesting stuff these days at less inflated prices than the rest of the big manufacturers.

sign up for the mailing list and you'll get an email that day. They used to make them more limited in numbers but lately have upped it and at times made the price cheaper. I've missed out on a few that I wanted. Im more into the Marksman, vantage, and spitfire models. They do a lot more of their traditional models. They also have done a few times a big run of web only specials. I remember they did a "race" theme 110 a few years back and they were $22 a piece, i ordered 3 so shipping was free
