Sig 365 Comments?

Lol, I think we have to assume the former.

The 365 has been a clear winner for SIG, so you cannot go wrong. However there are other alternatives from other competitors and also from Sig itself. I personally like the P938 better due to its build materials and significant thumb safety. The 365 safety seems too small/puny to me and I always carry one in the chamber with safety on.

Bought a P365 after renting one and found it to fit my hand SO much better than my G26. My wife tried mine and really liked it so I bought her one for Christmas. She finally got her CWFL. She keeps it as her nightstand gun as well. With the 12 round mag it just feels and shoots great and it is thinner than the G26

My 365 is my daily summer carry. Moved ahead of my Kimber 1911 and Glock 43x. The only thing challenging that position right now is the Hellcat OSP I’m putting through the wickets before carrying. So far it’s been a great little gun.

Mine is perfect now after initial failure to go into battery. (First 100 rounds) ii is little heavy for pocket carry but suspenders are your friend. It has replaced my s&w bodyguard in that role. Very comfortable carried OWB with the 12 round mag.

I ended up buying 2, one for me and another for my wife. Both of ours have the safety. At one time I was carrying a G43, my wife a Ruger LC9s. I liked both guns well enough and still have the Glock. But after trying the Sig it became my primary carry gun. With 10 round mags it replaced the G43 for IWB carry. I have 12 round mags that I use when OWB is an option and it has largely replaced the Glock G19 for that.

After giving it some thought we decided that whatever we carried it would be better if they were the same. I shoot a lot, and shoot a lot of different guns so switching between different guns isn't a big deal for me. But my wife doesn't really enjoy shooting. She does just enough to stay proficient and doesn't want to learn how to use different systems.

I had one and didn't care for it. Just didn't feel right in the hand...to small of a grip. Have a Shield Plus now that fills the bill. Make sure you try it on before you buy.

I'm afraid I don't understand the question. With "wife's pocketbook in need," are you asking if you should buy one (to protect her pocketbook) or sell one (to fill her pocketbook)

Honest answer, thanks.

There's a simple solution for that: Buy an XL frame and drop your P365 into it: best of both worlds. Same size as the standard P365 with the 12-round mag, but more ... solid.

I own an P365XL..had it before I acquired the P365. The objective was to get the grip length as short as possible for concealment. I run the Shield Plus with a 10 round mag..my XL doesn't conceal near as well as the Shield.

I bought one that was made 2/19 as I was told by Sig that they had all the bugs worked out with the firing pins breaking. I took it out and primer swipe was as bad as before. I sold it for what I had in it as that is one gun I could never trust.

I really hate to be "that guy," but a search of the Autoloaders sub-forum returned 4 pages, 61 threads with SIG P-365 in the title.

OP should have no trouble finding comments on this particular pistol.

That said, one suspects you'll find far more favorable comments on the 365 in this forum than unfavorable.

As far as "primer swipe" is concerned, there may be a bit noted by some of the pistols, but it typically has zero affect on functionality, reliability or accuracy.

The 365 is simply the premier sub-compact pistol in production these days, given the superb ergonomics, excellent accuracy, splendid factory night sights and awesome trigger.

I didn't ask if I should buy one or sell one. I asked for peoples' comments on the Sig. So, do you own a 365?

Let me make it easy for you. I was simply asking for the comments from people who own a Sig 365. The "thanks in advance" part should be self-explanatory.

Picked up the 365SAS still on the fence about its sights. Absolutely love it for pocket carry. Same size or a little smaller than my J-frame but with 11 rounds of 9mm. I may buy an regular XL and swap out the slides.

No.

You might have wanted to know something about the going price. What did the pocketbook have to do with it?

As Old Dog offered, there is a lot already here waiting to be found.

Where do women carry their pistols? Do you think it may be in their pocketbook? Jeez, why didn't I think of that?

I tried one, and it wasn't great enough to make me go get one. It was accurate, good trigger, and seemed solid. I did not like the way the grip felt in my hand. I realize too that too it is a carry gun so may see light duty. I shoot my carry weapons a decent amount and I cannot imagine shooting the 365 a lot. I'd advise you to try one before purchase.

I'm not going to lie Al. Your OP was quite vague and not exactly clear. However now that we know better what you're cryptic meaning was, I can say that I have only had the pleasure of handling one. I have not fired one, but intend to purchase one soon. They seem to fit my large hands very well for a compact pistol.
