I regret not buying one of those Taurus .327 mags right before they discontinued them, when dealers had them discounted to about $270 or so. Another lower priced option that
is currently available would be the Charter Arms Undercoverette, in .32 HR magnum, which I believe are now being made as 6 shot revolvers after many years of being made only as 5 shots. (Correct me if I'm wrong on that...I am aware that the .32 CA's of 40 years ago were 6 shots.) They may be available in longer barrels, but I don't know.
What I opted for was a cool old S&W .32 Hand Ejector from the 1940's. It's in decent functional shape and is reliable and I paid $299 for it at Cabelas a few years ago. I had one prior to that, but didn't get such a good deal on it. (Yes, .32 S&W Long is considered marginal for defense/hunting, but Buffalo Bore is making some stouter rounds for it that can be used in solidly built guns like these old Smiths or later era H&R's, but you may not want to use them in those ancient top break Iver Johnsons or whatever. And I'd stay away from those H&R's in general just for reliability's sake.)
I did buy a 90's era Taurus DA revolver a couple of years ago...a knock off of an iconic S&W Model 16 from the 80's, in .32 HR Mag. It has a 6 inch barrel, sort of K frame sized, so it sounds like it might be exactly what the OP could be looking for. The problem is they're very hard to come by. Also, I haven't been able to bring the inherent accuracy out of mine yet, but it came with the original box and paperwork, which included a factory sight-in target that seemed to indicate the gun was fairly accurate at 15 to 25 yards.
This is what mine is, I can't remember which model number, though (76 or 761):
