Looks like those clamoring for the RP9 to make a comeback might be disappointed :D

Nothing at all under the "Recent News" tab, but a little "2020" showing in the lower right-hand corner.

<yawn>

Just wondering out loud here, as they heard from MANY current & potential customers... R they ever going to chamber the V3 in 20 gauge...ever...

They asked Henry Ford a similar question about the Model T, he said Yes you can get it in any color you would like as long as it's black:p

The only thing remington I've ever owned was fired pistol brass I picked up off the ground and a 511.22 rifle I gave to my BIL.

Bill

I have both a 700 BDL and a Model 7 in 7mag and 7-08 respectively; would like to see both of those come back

Definitely a new site. There is little in the way of information and specs, especially in the area of Recent News and Contact information. There is a phone number in the header.

They have a 783 listed. Not familiar with that one.

The Model 783 is one of their budget/entry level rifles. Seems to have gotten positive reviews by most folks that own one.

Nothing new about that. Remington's website has always been long on looks, short on information.

The 783 is the Marlin X series rifle, rebadged as a Remington, after Remington added the large dose of ugly they seem to think an inexpensive rifle requires.

Don't hold you breath on the 20 ga V3 the engineer that designed it left Remington (along with all the rest of Remington's design engineers) and thus it will be quite some time before they figure out how to make V3 again let alone redesign it around the 20gr shell.

It's heartening to see the 1100 Competition Synthetic still listed; I hope they continue production, and taht they're not just getting rid of NOS.

it is going to take time. At least this fall if not next spring. The company has been seriously damaged and will take time to heal.

The 783 is their budget gun, but it isn't close to the same design as the old Marlin. The Marlins were all internal magazine rifles with an open top action. More closely related to the 700 ADL. The 783 is of the more modern closed top action that requires detachable magazines to load.

I've own and have owned a number of Remington long guns, all were superior at what they were designed for. I hope they do well.

I am glad to see a line up of Remington firearms again. They obviously went through the old line up and picked a smaller subset to start off with. I know they have promised to really increase the standards for quality control so I'm really looking forward to getting a new Remington in my hands. I think that the line up will definitely increase with time.

When and where did they claim anything about increasing quality?
