C502xxx dates to 1961-62 in case you didn’t already know. My high school years!

Thanks, one of the things I was wondering. The gun was pretty dirty and needed some oil, but it cleaned up very well, it looks virtually new now. I know that the couple inherited it and are most definitely not gun people, I believe they just wanted it gone.

Boy are you going to be sorry. Next time someone breaks into your house at 3:00 am your not going to have a piece of antique furniture to throw at them ! :neener:

I have a 2" Model 10 from 1961 or so. It was a LE turn-in.

I really, really like it. The trigger is way better than a j-frame and it is very accurate for a snub with fixed sights.

Congratulations!

These were located in another drawer in the same room where the revolver was located, wonder if they were bought with the gun. None are missing from the box.

I would guess “Yes”. I wouldn’t shoot them, not that there should be a problem with that, but I would bet some Collector would love to get their hands on that box, especially full of cartridges.
I have no idea what it would be worth.

I recently acquired a 2" '51 HE in .32 and I have to agree, that trigger on these pre-J frames are so smooth and light.
