Random Gun Pics...let’s see how random we can make it

Not a Colt. Most likely made by the same company that made them for Colt. All of the parts are interchangeable. It just cost a lot less then the Colt.

I was going to say U.S,F.A., but that was after Colt left the Blue Dome in Hartford, Conn., I could be mistaken... (and taking this thread off course)

DSC_2224.jpg Ok, how about this for 'randomness.' For many years I was heavily into military modelling, having been a military history buff from a wee age. I parlayed that enthusiasm into replicating in small scale (1/35) dioramas that I initially built solely for my own pleasure, displaying them at various locales nationwide and then began selling them to collectors from all parts. So I thought the folks here would like to see some random gun pics in a much smaller scale. DSC_2200.jpg

What a fascinating thread. I check back almost daily to see the latest randomness. Want to give this topic a big thumbs up but don't wish to post my positive comments without throwing in some random pics. So here's a 1908 Brazilian Mauser, in 7x57, built by DWM in Oberndorf, Germany . Got this one almost 30 years ago and came across a bayonet & scabbard for it a few years ago at a gun show. Bore shows wear but it's a good shooter. This is what caused me to start reloading the 7x57.....

I got it from a friend's estate, I've had a couple offers on it which is surprising since it was stored poorly and I had to get some surface rust off it. No pitting just discoloration. my nephew calls it the "John Wayne gun" and loves to shoot it.

I grew up spending many enjoyable hours toting one one of those in the woods around our cabin as a kid.

@entropy It's a really fun 22. My nephew went through all the 22 ammo I'd brought with us something like 300+ rounds.

It came with aftermarket rosewood grips I didn't care for and replaced with Eagle Ivorex for a more traditional look.
