Had a finger in the open action of a buckmark to keep the cleaning rod from hitting the bolt. Patch was good and tight and when it decided to go it jammed my finger onto the ejector (stiff wire) which went in about 1/4”. Hurt like heck. Also when much younger got my left thumb too high with a .25 acp and actually double tapped it before I got my finger off the trigger. First semi auto I owned, glad it was not a .45

Everyone's had "hammer bite" from a Government Model, right? Savvy individuals know actually the top projection of the grip safety that digs into the web of the hand, not the hammer. I have a permanent scar from that now.
Akin to this is "slide bite" where the underside of the slide (what mounts on the frame) rubs across the same web of the hand, leaving an abrasion. I've been slide bit by a few. 1935 Berreta. 1907 Savage. Something else, too, but I cannot bring it to mind.
The oddest 'injury' I've ever had (not a firearm, but related to shooting) happened when resetting a "Texas Star" target mechanism. One of the plates had a burr or sharp edge and scratched my hand enough to draw blood. Twice.

Once an M60 came loose from its mount, fell from the chopper I was the Chief Crewman in, and landed in the Pacific Ocean. I got chewed out. It hurt my feelings.

Many years of shooting the garand and (to date) have managed to keep my thumb out of the way. Only injury I can remember was twin slide tracks across web of hand from an Astra Cub, 22 short, but it made an impression. Those rails are razor sharp!
Was pulling targets in the pits at a match with a member of another AMU team and he spoke of meeting his first wife on the rifle range when a piece of his brass found it's way down her uniform and lodged in her cleavage. Talk about a hot date!
Apparently it worked out surprisingly well.

Only one I can think of, and it was two weeks ago. Basically, in the process of mounting a scope on my Winchester '94, a little pin that keeps the firing pin in with the bolt became loose. Not knowing this I loaded up some cartridges, and the previously operable action became completely frozen. I had to remove the follower to get the shells out, and in trying to screw the cap back on the end after replacing the follower, the screwdriver slipped out of the screw slot and went straight for the web of my hand. It bled for a bit... Needless to say, that all made for a rather frustrating trip to the range.

Yes, 'Ljungman thumb' is a bad one, I would have to concur worse than "garand thumb'

My wife suffered the granddad, or grandmom of those types of "flukey gun related injuries" once - she closed the handle on my Benjamin pump-up air rifle on one of the protuberances from her chest.
Blood Blisters!!!More closely related though was the time a piece of hot brass from a semi came back and landed just perfectly so as to wedge itself between my wife's safety glasses and her forehead. If she had not been wearing her safety glasses, she probably would not have been hurt at all. On the other hand, if she would have been wearing a hat, even a simple ball cap (along with her safety glasses of course) she probably wouldn't have been hurt either.

Think Hakim/Ljungman bolts have more mass than an M-1 and stronger springs. Many lose thumbnail altogether so heads up and thumbs out. Some reports of slam fires may support this.

Not exactly an accident, but fired an M60 lefthanded and ended up with about a dozen light circle 'brands' from the hot case mouths on my right forearm.

I seem to have a habit of getting the fleshy pad of my fore finger caught in the slide port of certain automatic 22 pistols. Raises a blood blister. Right hand so it stifles close hand finger work for a few days.
While doing beaucoup FA mag dumps with my M14A1/E2 the rubber bedding of the barrel melted and flowed over my support hand giving a nice burn. Switched over to standard M14s I had added selector switches to where the barrels just burned the wood fore end.
Free ammo we had to dispose of as it was past it’s shelf life in our humid Nam bunker. Guys were doing ridiculously long M60 bursts and watched a knucklehead try to switch out a barrel without the glove too soon after the cherry glow faded. Monster blister.

Had that with a .45ACP case. It fell between down to the cheek just below the lower eyelid. Not fun. Still got a tiny scar.
I've picked case fragments out of my face from hitting the frame. Thank heavens for safety glasses.
Had a Ruger MkII Govt Target some years ago and stabbed myself with the pointed part of the undercut front sight. I can't remember the details of how I managed to accomplish that now, but I do remember how sharp that sight was!
There are lots of sharp edges inside a Ruger DA revolver. Some of them are really sharp. Ask me how I know.
I've also gotten the typical Walther PPK slide cuts. I beveled the slide edges and rounded the sharp corners on the back of the slide so it is less likely to cut/stab now. One nice thing about stainless steel guns is that you can do things like that without having to refinish them.
For awhile, I had a brownish scar on my arm where a .22LR casing, HOT out of the chamber landed in the bend of my elbow just as I bent my arm. It stuck and made a perfect "branded" impression of the case. I didn't enjoy the process of getting it at all, but I do confess that I was a bit unhappy when the scar finally faded to invisibility.

I concur. My experience was with a Ljungman, but from a practical perspective there's no difference. At least the gas tube is pretty small so the piece of meat it gouges out isn't too big.

Mom and Dad gave me a Winchester Model 55 semi-auto, single-shot .22 rifle for my 10th birthday in 1958. The ejection port is in the bottom of the stock - right where I naturally placed my left hand. Until I grew some, I wore a blister for the first week, and then a sore red spot for the second week, after every jackrabbit hunt we went on.
I still have the rifle though, and it still works great. I'm a lot bigger now, and my hand doesn't naturally go underneath that ejection port anymore.

About three years ago my friend while kneeled down looking at some new boots at a large sports store was shot in the back by a gun counter employee that was unloading a handgun.
The bullet ricocheted off the floor first and did not kill him but there is a law suit and perhaps settled by now.

I never got “Garand Thumb” until the day I was showing my friend’s son how not to get Garand Thumb. 
I ricocheted a Ruger Vaquero hammer spring off my forehead while trying to compress it to slip a punch into the hole in the hammer strut to retain the spring. That little cut bled like crazy.
While testing bullet resistant Lexan windows by shooting at them we found out, well, I found out that 00 Buck bounces off Lexan and one pellet hitting you in the cheekbone feels like what I would imagine a punch from Mohammed Ali would feel like. I also got to find out that when you go to a clinic for stitches the police question you about why you got shot…or ricocheted. A little embarrassing.
I can’t even tell you how many times I have been hit with lead splatter at CAS matches including a few cuts.
I smashed my left middle finger tip on my Lee single stage press. One shouldn’t listen to stand up comics on TV while reloading.
I accepted a guy’s offer to shoot his .300 Win. Magnum “Mountain Rifle”. I fired one round. Struck a nerve. Arm went numb. Man, what a kick.

We had our first “firearm” accident tonight.
I put a holstered 4” SP 101 on top of the fridge. Evidently it was a little too close to the door, because when my wife opened the freezer door it fell (6’+) on her foot.
