Yes, use 3N37, very fast, very accurate.

80 degrees 22% RH 3-2015

Avg 1283 3” EMP
Avg 1404 4.5” XDm
Avg 1463 5” Colt 1911
Avg 1446 5” S&W 1911
Avg 1630 16” AR-15

A lot of fun in the pistols. Nothing special in the AR
Thanks, That is nice and zippy!!
I have no 3N37 :(
Any load suggestions for Bullseye, Unique, 700x, Power Pistol, Blue Dot or Titegroup?

Not that exact 90gr JHP but Lyman 50 has this for a Sierra 90gr in 9mm
1.01 OAL
700X 3.6-4.5gr 1027-1292fps
Bullseye 4.1-5.2gr 971-1376fps
Titegroup 4.4-4.9gr 1170-1305fps
Unique 5.0-6.3gr 1089-1343fps
Power Pistol 6.3-7.0gr 1216-1331fps
Blue Dot 7.0-8.9gr 1072-1341fps

I haven't used any of those with 90s, for my fast 90gr loads I used CFE-P,, Silhouette and WSF, all got me > 1350fps
90gr bullets in 9mm can be fun.

edit: They listed other powders as well I just put in info for the ones you mentioned.

Has anybody used the 90gr .355 Sierra Sig Sauer V-Crown Bullets Jacketed Hollow Point in a 9mm loading? What powder and charge? What pistol?
(I know, it's a .380 weight bullet)
I am new here so I will be cautious about what I say. Been loading Sierra 90gr HPs on and off for forty years. My first pistol was Colt 1911 series 70 Mk IV 9mm. I started out with Herco and went to the max charge specified in the 40 years ago data. I had some feeding problems because of the short OL 1.01" and took my pistol to Warshall's on 1st Ave in Seattle. The gunsmith shot several of my loads into his test pit. Recommend I back off on the powder to avoid hammering the frame. Years later while solving problems with my Steyr GB I decided that 115gr was better for feeding reliability. Had well over a 1000 Sierra 90gr JHPs so when I picked up some 3n37 I worked up a 90gr JHP load with the numbers from the first VV manual. I was able to match my Herco velocities before I got pressure indications shooting from a P7 PSP. I didn't even get close to the max load in the VV #1 book. I didn't load any more. One attribute of the 3n37 formulae was stable velocity. My experience 90gr JHPs over Blue Dot was unacceptable levels of variation in velocity. 3n37 was much more stable. The problem with 3n37 is book loads are all over the map. So unless you are an expert (I am not) you will find the difference in the loading data intimidating. I have proven loads with old powders like Herco which work. I don't shoot or carry 90gr HP loads. HK doesn't recommend anything lighter than 115gr and I find that weight very reliable. A lot of 9mm pistols have feeding issues with 90gr loads. I carry 115gr Sierra over BlueDot. A super conservative choice. There are better powders than BlueDot but I have been reloading with it since 1979. It is a flash bang load, not suitable for night shooting.

The 3n37 data currently published online by Sierra and Speer is vastly different from VV manual #1. This is the main reason I haven't adopted VV 3n37. The guys at NATO reloading test in guns I do not own. Mostly Springfield XDM 4" or 4.5" and they push the limits while running the risks. They read primers. I haven't found reading primers very satisfactory. The NATO guys use soft primers. I shot a case of PMC 115Gr JHPs and by the time I finished the case (years and years) the primers were very flat.
