I know this has been discussed a million times but what the heck I'm on a favorites kick.
I'll start out by saying in this brutally hot weather I'm partial to either my 2" Colt Cobra 38 special or my Sig P365 as they both carry easily in the pocket of my cargo shorts. ;)
Today's all time favorite is a Dan Wesson Guardian in 38 Super.
I say today's because historically it's always been a commander in 45ACP but I've become a real fan of the 38 Super in the last couple of years.
This is all about concealed carry around about town or in an urban environment, in the woods is a different matter. :D

This is the one gun that goes with me to most places.

It's a 19-4 in .357 Magnum, thoroughly worked over by Alan Tanaka at AT Custom. As the gun continues to inch toward "collector status" I think about replacing it - maybe with a newer revolver, maybe even with a bottom feeder - but it's an old friend and hits for me perfectly, so I'll probably just keep thinking about it.

I'm a big .38 Super fan too but I rarely carry it these days, preferring much smaller, lighter guns like a Kahr CM9 or a S&W Model 638.

I really like my Sig P365XL, but I recently switched to an H&K P30SK with a 13-rd mag because I just prefer a DA/SA for AIWB carry. I added a set of Trijicon HD sights and a 15-rd spare mag and I’m a happy camper! The P30SK is a little bit heavier, but otherwise the compare favorably size-wise.

Spent the last year downsizing drastically, only keeping what I actually enjoy/trust. The one that got promoted to full-time EDC is my Springfield XD-S 3.3 .40S&W, carried in an AlienGear ShapeShift, usually in the IWB configuration. Not as classy as some, but has proven to be an utterly reliable combo for me.

Our year around concealed carry is a S&W Shield 9X19mm - (8) Rd plus (1) capacity. When we really gear up the backup is a S&W M640-38Spl. We are not into Knives and or Brass Knuckles.

My personal choice is a 2 inch revolver. It's a model 10-5 Smith and Wesson. I've got a Crimson Trace Laser grip on it.

I suppose I am old school. I carry a model 10-5 Smith and Wesson 2 inch revolver. It has a Crimson Trace Laser grip on it.

Up here in Northwestern Wisconsin I normally carry my Ruger LC9s in the warmer months, like August:

Then, after Labor Day, I'll start toting my Glock 23 in a shoulder holster by Diamond D from Alaska:

Or, if I want to set the surrounding area on fire from muzzle flash, I do like the Smith & Wesson Model 19 .357 Magnum:

I figure if I miss close enough, I can still burn 'em enough that they'll leave me be. I really LOVE that revolver.
