Excellent single stage reloader. Tough as nails.

I’m glade they have a Speer manual, the Nosler that came with my kit is not good

Rcbs has primer bundles of kits whatever they call it, you buy dies yet sell you a brick of cci primers for the cartridge, it's pricey but at least they are paying hazmat.

they had a good deal on there new rebel press kit as well.

Mine came with the Nosler manual also. It is not very useful in my opinion. I'm glad I bought the Hornady 10th and Lyman 50th when I bought the kit. They are packed with info. The Lyman is my favorite.

I bought a Rock Chucker kit 30 years ago. I have loaded a lot of ammo with it with no complaints. While the scale works fine, I upgraded to a digital not long after buying the kit. I dont regret that decision.

A single stage has its place. I wouldn't want to give up my progressive, though, when it comes to handgun loading.

This is a very good kit. I bought one in 2015 and it's still the only press I use. I've made 20,000+ rounds on it.

Lyman is by far my favorite, bought the 47th or 49th for $1

My Rockchucker kit I bought 7 years ago came with a Speer manual. Still my only press, and I have loaded thousands of rounds with it. Finally loaded up some Speer 125 gr. JHP's for 38 special as test loads this week. I am very pleased with this simple set-up.

I was at a match, and a guy was unloading everything for $1 each. I ran out of $1’s

What does Rock Chucker do above aluminum framed Partner at 1/2 the price? RCBS has Life Time warranty. I have Partner, choose it for the lighter weight/portability, I have it mounted on a stand that I can move it around. I only load up to 308/30-06.

I learned to load, on a Rock Chucker, in 1975.
Bought my own "kit" in 1980. Still use it for all rifle loading. I did buy a digital scale. Still check it against the balance beam.
It didn't come with a manual, I don't believe. I bought a Hornady manual. It doesn't list many new powders, so I bought a Nosier manual. Most new loads, I check on-line sources, too. But I like having a manual close by when I load.

The Partner has served many very well. The iron Rock Chucker will last forever. Basic loading, the Partner will save a few bucks.
I reform brass and the added weight, strength of the RC is comforting. Converting every suitable belt magnum to 7mm, turning .270 into 7x57, 7-08 and others into .260. That heavy steel doesn't give.
Of course, a Partner wasn't available when I bought mine.

I would get the full Rock Chucker instead of aluminum. nobody ever said they didn’t like their Rock

If I was new to reloading I would jump on that deal. There are a few items that you will eventually replace and toss, but solid equipment. my 2 cents.

the only thing I don’t use in my kit is the Lube pad and Alan wrench set. 7-9years later, it’s still going strong

But I'm actually tempted by THIS Kit ..... for $10 cheaper. New Rebel has a taller opening, hole through the ram for spent primers, even heavier casting....super clean!
Comes with the new Uniflow 3 too that I reviewed months ago on THR. No more need for two sizes of cylinders...

A trickler even.....I have never had or used a trickler...maybe I should have....haven't missed one. Don't have a electronic trickler/scale either. I always figured either were only good for target competition....

That's the one I'd like to get, I am do for a new electric powder scale and a primeing tool, plus the press looks good.

I bought my RC!! kit in 1982 on sale for $239.00. It did all my loading for about 25 years before it got a few helpers. It still runs as good as new and I still use most of the kit. I always feel confident with the 505 scale.

I use the powder drop like a Cake Froster. It works fast for batches

I bought my kit 7-9 years ago with a mail in rebate for around $250, maybe cheaper
