Indoor one of my 1911 guns.
Outdoor maybe my Remington 700 I customized in .308 Winchester or my M1A Match rifle.

When my buddy calls it depends on indoor or outdoor. Indoor I am more limited than outdoor which I prefer especially during the nice weather. Once winter sets in the outdoor range is a frozen tundra. :)

That's a hard one. One of the most enjoyable long guns I have is my M1 Carbine. However, I have several shotguns that I need to function fire to vet for reliability... so probably the Maverick 88 7+1 I picked up a couple weeks ago or the nickel RIA Carina I received last week ($220 and $175 respectively, both NIB... I'm a sucker for inexpensive shotguns).

Mine would have to be my "toy". I spent the last couple of years whittling down, giving my kids and friends stuff they would appreciate more than I did, and selling some. Got down to 2 rifles and 2 pistols, "tools" that had distinct purposes. Also lost a lot of the desire to shoot, just seemed that the cycle was: get bored, buy something, work up a load, sight it in and work up dope, put it away, go back to being bored.

Finally decided I wanted something just 'cuz, something I could appreciate for what it was. Finally found a Henry steel-frame single-shot in .30-30, stumbled into an accurate load with some stuff that was given to me by a retiring family member, and am enjoying making each shot count, with nothing but the factory irons, and my poor eyesight. Yep, if I am going to shoot just for the fun of it, I am taking my Henry.

Any gun which > Already< has 1-2 years’ worth of Ammo stored.

— The answer: Meeting that specific requirement, would grab One of my rifles in 7.62x39. Tomorrow, the Czechpoint.

Could also take a .22Lr, or a 9 mm…because these “qualify”.

I suspect one of mine may call tomorrow in fact. We're focusing on precision guns these days. He's doing load development, I am learning how to shoot again so doing lots of repetitions on cheap ammo.

Anyway, mine is the Remington 700 PSS .308 in the XLR Element 1 stock with the Steiner Military and YHM suppressor.
