Brownells has financing for primers

It seems that financing will be required now for reloading supplies. Went to Midway USA out of curiosity to see if they had primers and was surprised to see them starting at $74.99 for 1000 and and high as $89.99. Looks like my shooting buddies at the range and I will continue exchanging primers. I needed primers for my .357 and they needed for their AR's it all worked out.

$84.99/5000 would be a deal.

If you’re willing to pay $85/1000, it means you’re a person who wouldn’t mind also paying interest on them…
I only pay interest on Mortgages, Car 0.5%, and taxes!

Brownells is great, but when ordering primers or powders... the ONLY option is 'signature required' for delivery. That's a PITA for anyone with an actual JOB.

This being said, I wrote out a note saying I was accepting the package from Brownells and signed it with a date... and taped it to the door for the FedEx driver... and he actually took it and left the package!

So, something to look out for... and a possible solution.

Good Luck!

Not any more I’ll wager. They relaxed greatly enforcement of signature requirements during pandemic, but just last week reinstated the original rqmts.

Or maybe someone that has money and does not need to ask for your approval !:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Probably depends on your FedEx guy. I'd almost wager my guy signed for me so he wouldn't have to come back the next day... lol

First company that starts the candy bar trick - less quantity for same price - will go on my Never Buy From Again list alongside Cheaper Than D**t
yeah, they are just going to slim the bricks down and load them with 8 packs!

You will be surprised how well SRPs work in 357. I have not bought a small pistol primer in close to 6 years. Thousands of shots fired with them.

This has been a good break from shooting and reloading for me. I have plenty of supplies on hand because I have hardly pulled a trigger in the last 18 months or so.

I'll get back to it when all this idiocy stops.
