6.8 Western?

Anyone have a 6.8 or better yet, reload it? Curious on the performance and I realize it’s pretty early in the game to have decent reload data at this point. Searching for a new rifle and this one peeks my interest.

The only discussion I've seen at all was the vortex 10 minute talk but that had no data. That cartridge was released in the rona storm so data is tight.

The 6.8 Western is to the .270 WSM .....as the 6.5 Creedmoor is to the .260 Remington

They simply shortened the cartridge body and made where the long bullets would have a neck to catch on ...and gave each a faster barrel twist to stabilize the long sleek bullets ...and still fit in the short action ...

Look on Hoddgon site they are not the same data

No ...two different cartridges as are the 6.5 Creed moor &.260 Reminton
