After much success elsewhere, thought I’d do a revolver specific version here. What Revolver design, model, version would you enjoy seeing make a triumphant return ?

And before anyone says it “S&W like back then” is not acceptable.

My personal choice would be a steel framed Centennial Smith & Wesson in .38 Spl, with no lock, the standard 1-7/8” unshrouded barrel, and the old style wood panel grips; tricked out for carry. *GOOD* factory action, machined for moon clips, tritium/FO front sight, deformed.
In short, a Mdl 40 or 640 with no grip safety.

Make mine a Smith Model 24 with a 4" bbl...that's a .44 Special for the uninformed! A good alternate might be a Model 29 Mountain Gun without the infernal lock. They're about the same weight but the magnum adds some versatility for those tortured few who can withstand a full cylinder of 240 gr, full house magnums! But I'll be reasonable, and accept a 624 in place of the 24...but would appreciate the pre-Biden price. YMMv Rod

A Model 24 would be nice to have but they are almost as rare as K-32/Model 16’s chambeted in 32S&WL.

I have a Model 24 Classic, close but not the same as the original Model 24’s.

The Model 624’s are nice revolvers and can satisfy the 44 Special itch.

Not to sound like a broken record, but I’d like to see a K-32/Model 16 chambered in 32 S&WL.

While the originals are expensive, they are also more rare than hen’s teeth. I could buy one if I found one.

The 32 S&WL wadcutters are crazy accurate and it would be fun to have a good revolver to shoot them in.
