So, I went in my LGS to scope out ammo.
They are still in their strange status quo where they have SD ammo in variety (if not necessarily economy), and no FMJ. (Did grab 9x19 STHP since it was $1.51/round, down from the $2@ I paid three months ago).
However, while the ammo shelves had a number of "Sorry no [ammo]" cards, the Used guns racks & shelves were full.
So, to tempt me, sorely, they have a decent Savage 1907 in .32acp--$600 plus tax.
And, a Colt 1903, on consignment, with the price marked down from $900 to $700. This last will probably nag at me no end.
Now, they also had an FN High Power at a good price, a couple of SIG P220s, and several Kimber 1911 clones. A really good selection, if needed to split hairs over just how good a deal they were, individually.
