there's a brand new, non-decocker model in a store here. i keep looking at it. i keep thinking about it. i just bought 2 1911s so i shouldn't be thinking about it. it has this weird, long trigger pull. it's enticing. i like it.

I had enough squirreled away to get it. Thought about a Berreta, euro optics has them on sale. Also looked a Jericho. Then my wife said enough already. No 92F and no Jericho. Get it, I want to hold it in my hand to see what all the fuss is about. Nobody has a CZ locally. I really liked my Witness.

I got to play with a brand new stainless 75 at the LGS, but the $$ was outrageous. If I ever see another for less than a grand, its coming home with me!

CZ has discontinued the polished SS 75s and they’re bringing a premium.

My LGS had one a year or so ago for $700 and I fondled it for about 30 min before putting it back and I’ve been kicking myself ever since.

Consider this. It you pick it up and it takes you longer than 15 minutes to hand it back to the guy behind the counter just buy the damn thing.

i bought the CZ 75B i'd been looking at, took it to the range today, it shoots and shoots and shoots...

never missed a lick. i'm hitting about 3" to the left, might just be me, will have to put a few more through it. i've for sure got to get a magazine loader.

i think it's sad that somebody has to wait 10 days or something to get a gun, but you are going to have a ball when it gets there!

Wife said stop looking and start buying. So a new CZ is on the way. Owned a Witness in the 90’s which I really enjoyed. Sold it when I moved back to NY. Soon I will have another, only this time, not a clone.
You have seen the light.
Welcome and start therapy as soon you can.

Be careful with those CZ's. They release nanobots into your system that just makes you want more. I tried one, one time. ONE TIME mind you, and got the infection. I'm a revolver guy but I've managed to end up with a few CZ's.

Then an irresistable urge for more came over me.

CZ-75-D PCR "Compact."

While I was waiting on my background check, I saw this one. It was cheap so I added it to the paperwork.

One specific thing I like about them is they don't have any rails. Nothing against rails really, I just think they're ugly, and guns like these are pretty much range toys for me. Although the Compact one does carry duty from time to time when my back is behaving.

Be careful. :) They may start to elbow out other guns and next thing you know they may take over your safe and range bag. Also, the first thing any 75-based CZ or 97 needs is a Cajun Gun Works Ultra-Lite kit. From there, you may go even further with CGW parts such as the Pro Pack. CGW parts turn excellent guns into outstanding guns.

I6turbo, you went over the line with that post. I may have to report you to the .... well to whoever you report such things too. Its one thing to encourage, but to dastardly show such a photo is beyond belief. So many CZ's and only so many hands.

I kind of need a CZ75 to go with my CZ Scorpion.
Buddy of mine has this one and it shot nice.

Will be delivered on Monday. Then I have to send the paperwork to the permit office (no office hours due to COVID) and wait for them to mail it back. Then I can pick it up and also my new Colt Revolver.

You know I won’t take your advice. And thanks for responding when I was asking about your pistols. Is the 97 that much larger than the 75?

I had a CZ75 in the late 1980s and, while I liked the pistol overall, I disliked the trigger. Upon pulling the trigger the whole hammer unit was moving upwards and the results on a 25m UIT target were not satisfying. In Germany the CZ75 had been very popular at that time and several companies and gunsmiths offered customizations, one of those customizations was that the hammer unit was affixed in the frame and the trigger pull was greatly improved.
I have a Swiss made Sphinx AT2000S that is based on the CZ75 platform and when my son was over yesterday, we compared the Sphinx to a CZ75 that had been customized by Oschatz, the CZ75 has even less play in the slide to frame fit, the trigger pull is amazing in D/A and S/A and the guns are both in my range bag today to be tested in a side by side comparison.
