My favorite LGS sold a few of the guns I had there on consignment so I've had a sizable credit there waiting for me to decide what to do. The guys there know me really well. Yesterday I stopped in and they asked what I was looking for after they handed me this. Holy Moley!!! Everything I like in a handgun.

So it looks like I'll be reloading 9mm again.
and maybe shopping for wood grips....

Nice gun! I got my first and only CZ about a year ago, a Shadow 2 Orange. Unbelievable how good it is out of the box, and production legal for USPSA. It's like cheating. I put lok grips on it because it seemed like the thing to do. But I didn't notice any improvement for me personally.

You're doomed. They multiply like flies.

Mwa ha ha! :)
I told the guys at the gun shop that this is the last firearm I'm buying. They laughed at me.

ETA - I have been trying to thin the herd to only a few guns. I went in looking for a High capacity, hammer fired 45. Theoretically that would be the last gun.

.....and a slide milling job, ....and a red dot, .....and a magwell, ......oh, and I second the LOK recommendations, excellent fitting and feel to their grips. I'm partial to the palm well myself.
Congrats on the find. They are some sweet shooters for certain.

Well that leaves the CZ 97 on the table:)

Took the CZ to the indoor range today. Factory 115gr ammo, After a little warmup I did my 5yard, 10yard, 15yard, 20yard drill. 10 shots at each distance at about a 1 second cadence and electronically moving the targets in between. The target on the left is the result. I am very pleased.
The head shots on the right are a test of one of my reloads in the CZ at 20 yards and I'm really happy about that. All shooting today was standing, unsupported, using a 2 hand grip.
It's a shooter!

Handsome gun and good shooting! Now take off the bar code sticker. :D
The sticker stayed on till I got home. I wasn't going to take it off till I was sure everything functioned as it should in a gun in this price range.

FWIW For me the only other semi auto that was this nice out of the box was the SigP210. I thought this half way through the first magazine.

Why didn't you like them before? It's pretty but still a cz

Cajun gun works

Just bought my second CZ 97 on Saturday, I'll take it over a 1911, P220 and FNX 45.
This one is getting a red dot and sao.

I picked up the CZ Shadow Blue SAO a few months back. They are really nice. Not sure how you could have not liked them beforehand???

I had a couple of CZ's over the years and the ones I had beat the heck out of the inside of my trigger finger. My hands have changes since retiring from stonecarving/stonemasonry.
On the other hand I used to like how a G19 fit my hand, and now not so much.
