Christmas 2021.....what'd you get?

What'd you guys give or get this year? My wife got me this Streamlight TLR1. Been wanting one for a while but I couldn't choose, all I knew is I didn't want the HL or Laser so I gave her an idea of what to get and let her choose from like 4 different weapon lights and I think she chose wisely.... just a regular TLR1.

Only thing gun related was a $50 bass pro gift card, did get a nice fleece lined jacket I can use for hunting, a few other clothes.

Not gun related a axial scx24 c10 rc truck.

Got a new camo boonie hat for trackin' VC through the A Shau Valley (or just mowin the lawn), Rick and Morty season 5, and I got to order the rest of the parts for my AR22 build, but they haven't arrived yet......

Best of all, I got a "save the date" to take my girls shooting next week.

Were doing Christmas Jan 25th for our main family get together. Because of covid here in the home. My wife son and his G/F and i did some exchanges and were having a dinner. I got a nice thermos with a deer scene on it. A brick of CCI 22's. And gift cards.

Nice, I also got a fleece lined jacket, fleece lined work jeans and a 2nd My Pillow so now I have a "firm" and "medium" fill for my side. If you guys haven't tried a My Pillow I highly recommend. A lil expensive for poly foam and compared to others but worth it to me.

The streamlight is nice, I should have bought one ages ago... I kind of want one for my 19 now but it's gonna have to be a compact version (TLR7 maybe?) and I'll have to find a holster that accommodates a WML. I never used to stress the need for a weapon light on a pistol but I've changed my mind, spent alot of time reading and thinking about it, 10 years or so, lol.

So far I have gotten mostly stuff for my new business, but there was a 410 bullet mold that supposedly works well as a slug, and a Stevens 16ga SxS that’s not here yet. There’s some camo in the mix too but its mainly to stay warm at the new job when winter hits. I saved the pics off of GB when I won the shotgun auction.

Covid in this house, too. Which stopped the usual Christmas get together.

Regarding firearms, my neighbor did give me a box of .357 magnum ammo yesterday for Christmas.

I got a Vortex 3-9 scope with illuminated reticle that I already mounted to my 243, a compact TLR light that I already mounted to my suppressed Keltec P17 (now all I need is a possum in the trash outside), and that new book by Newt Gingrich.

Me too… but mine are AC Delco. I generally buy either dewalt or Milwaukee but no more than I will use these I fully expect the
Delco to do what I need done. I still have pneumatic as backups too.

My wife ordered me a so called "Camp Shirt" from the "Piragis Northwoods Company" catalog. It's big, billowy, and has a squared of bottom and long sleeves. I like big shirts with squared off bottoms for concealed carry OWB at 4:00 o'clock, and I like long sleeves this time of year. The only thing is, for some reason shirts with squared off bottoms AND long sleeve are hard to find, and this shirt has both.
However, as much as I like the shirt's squared off bottom and long sleeves, it's a bit light for winter in SE Idaho. Maybe I should have asked for it for my birthday in April.

I got a nice new insulated hunting jacket, knitted blaze orange wool hat, two camo caps, and a nice pair of rubber hunting boots. Only thing gun related I got was a Smith and Wesson universal pistol cleaning kit

Amen. It's amazing though, how indispensable a cordless impact becomes. So, my neighbor gets his beater Kobalt back. A win all around. Ain't Christmas great?
