Just wanted to get another pic thread rolling...

Any other Colt pistol fans out there? (rhetorical).

This is what's left, if I wasn't a knucklehead I'd have a nice collection of Colts going, it pains me to even think of the ones I let go, but about 4 really good ones are missing and I got them for a song.... live and learn. This is what's left, and they aren't going anywhere....

Share em if you got em....

My one and only Colt. Bought it new back in the late 90's. It's become a collectors item, but that is not why I bought it. Haven't shot it for a while, but it's a very accurate gun.

I have two Colts, both .38 Specials; a New Model Cobra and an Officers Model Heavy Barrel from the 1930’s era.

Both have amazing triggers and for me, shoot extremely well.

Someday I’ll add a Colt 1911 .45 ACP to the mix.

Stay safe.

Mine are just old "shooters" that I got inexpensively.

I got the 1903 when my daughter wanted to shoot an auto in a bigger caliber than 22lr. Ditto the Government 380, when she was ready to move up from 32acp.

I got the Army Model because it cost hardly any money and I hadn't owned a Colt revolver before.

The 1903 in 32acp was made in the 20's or 30's. It's a great little shooter and lots of fun (even though the sights are tiny). It's well-made, a very cool little example of good old-fashioned gun manufacturing.

The Government Model 380 is from the 1980's, I think. It has has a steel frame and fires from a locked breech, so it's very gentle to shoot. It's between medium-sized and pocket-sized. The sights are decent. It's accurate and reliable.

The Army Model in 38 special was made in 1921, IIRC. It has slightly better sights and slightly better trigger than my "M&P" that was made five years before it. The handling and accuracy are about the same as any good service revolver from that time period.

Is the roll marking on that one light at the top or is it the lighting.

I ask because one of my Delta elite is nice and deep on the bottom of the slide and dang near non existenton toward the top. Goes from deep to very faint. Ill try to get a picture tomorrow.

I don't care. Obviously it's a carried gun. Many a deer and beef has been taken by it. I even use it to teach guys how to work on 1911s.
