Anybody here have one yet? I’ve been on a waiting list forever. The rifle I am waiting on is a carbon fiber barreled 308 with non-adjustable stock, but I think I’d take a rifle chambered in anything other than 6mm CM if one became available locally. I’ve got a good friend whom has a 6.5 CM he received from Springfield to review and he seems impressed, but he may be slightly biased.

I've been looking very hard at them, looks to be good value for money. Think I'd go the same carbon non adjust, not sure what cartridge. If I had the money id be trying one by now.

I sold some stuff to fund one, but finding one other than Gunbroker is the problem and even on Gunbroker they are rare.
You might ask a local ffl. I know my buddy Dell had a couple available from his distributors when i was looking for my S20. Only cartridge option was 6.5CM i think. Not sure on specific versions of the rifle

Local guys have nothing. Our biggest dealer, whom is the largest Ruger dealer in the nation, so not a small outfit, has yet to get a Waypoint.

My buddy, whom works as a field tester for Springfield has told me that Springfield just has too many irons in the fire at the moment and that seems to be hurting 2020 Waypoint production. Springfield does seem to be constantly adding new products. I’ll give them a lot of credit for thinking outside the box and being willing to take risks. I just wish they’d get more 2020s out the door and I’d love it if they would come out with a long action 2020 this year.

Check out Sportsmans Warehouse. Seems like they have a good line on them as they have them pretty much every time I walk inside.

when I was in this semi local store 6 weeks ago they had 2. https://porterssportinggoods.com/
they looked like nice rifles. if they had been in left handed I might have picked one up.
They might still have them, I don't know. not a lot of folks in my area looking for a $2k rifle. they're a good store regardless.
Not a huge market for them in Mississippi either, but I’ll be their Huckleberry if I can find one in stock. Probably going to end up waiting on the one I put my name on the list for. We’ll see.

Picked up my Waypoint in 6.5 CM yesterday. Found one slightly used (8 rounds) that was semi local and worked out a trade on it. It has a Leupold VX-5HD 3-15x56 on top of it that was mounted in what appeared to be some cheap rings that were taller than I liked. Remedied that with a set of Warne lightweight low rings. Maybe I’ll get a chance to get it out to the range this weekend, but I kinda doubt it. I’m pretty giddy about tracking one down and adding it to the arsenal. 57F41EF4-1743-4FFF-8310-D95A3CB63AD7.jpeg

Finally got to take this rifle out to the range for a few minutes today. I didn’t really shoot for groups, but I fired probably fifteen to twenty rounds to get it zeroed and then played around with it out to four hundred yards. I think the accuracy claims are going to live up to the hype. I wish SA would hurry up and build a long action 2020 in 300 PRC, I think I would sell my X-Bolt McMillan.
