Affordable 22LR (Lowest shipped pricing)

CCI SV and Aguila SE have consistently produced smallest 50 yard groups for me with my 10/22 and T/CR22 testing - https://www.thehighroad.org/index.p...22lr-on-the-cheap.898035/page-2#post-12180149

If that is a legit vendor, that is a great price for NormaTac. I have seen it on store shelves lately l, but it was 7-8 bucks a box.

While, NormaTac isn't what I would consider a benchrest quality ammo, it is pretty decent. We tried some out of a few Remington 40x and CZ452 rifles and got some decent groups for a budget ammo.

I’ve been picking up Federal Automatch at my local Walmart for around $22/325 rounds. Last time I did the actual math on the receipt, it came to $0.07 per round out the door.

Only other .22LR was Winchester in a yellow box for $40 per box. Can’t remember the quantity but way over 7 cents.
That's what I have been buying

Local walmart selling winchester superx at $40. +change per 300 rounds.
Nope, Not going to pay that.
Under $10 per 100 is most I'm going to pay right now.
Stop. Stop buying for 30 days and not only can you have all the ammo you Want , You can have it at a "Reasonable" price.

Yikes!!!! still shooting .69/box WW Super X and have enough for the rest of my life. I cannot imagine how expensive it is now. A friend and i were tasked with unloading maybe 100+ Hi CAp ruger 10-22 mags so they could be resold. Former owner had mental issues and keep them and many 100s of these and other loaded hicap mags around due to his illness. After thumbing out big 20mm ammo cans of CF cartriges we came to conclusion it wasn't worth our time to unload all the 10-22 mags so we proceeded to just shoot them. You have no idea how tiring this can be.

I wouldn't give $5 for those Winchesters

Norma Tac was about $6.50 a box five years ago. Have you ever ordered from this vendor?

I bought a case of RWS Target rifle from Ammoshoponline last October. The price was great (it was a closeout) and shipping was prompt. I would recommend them as a source.

I recently finished up a box of Remington Golden Bullets I got 500 for 10 bucks in tje early 2000s. I was making minimum wage and that was an hour and a half worth of work.

I make a lot more now, but it's still proportionally the same, bullets per dollar give or take. Gas has also gone up the same amount.

The best years for me was the late 2010s.

I got excited when I got a "back in stock" text from an online vendor: Federal 510 in the blue box, $49.99 a brick. Ladies and gentlemen, that is FIVE TIMES what I was paying for it in 2008. Yeah, I understand inflation and special circumstances, but ... five times?

We're seeing some compression in ammo prices, I think. The cheap stuff is getting jacked up at a higher rate than the good stuff. If it's only a penny or two a round more for the good stuff, why buy the cheap stuff?

Wal Marts here have them too & they take a long time to sell. I grab a couple boxes of the Federal at WM when I go for $22 or so per box

I bit the bullet, so to say, and bought a case of 5000 MiniMags when I caught them in stock at Target Sports. $580 "free shipping" but a charge for "insurance."

It stung but area IDPA clubs are running .22 divisions and I wanted known ammo for about the price of centerfire primers.
