I think I have two .50 cal ammo cans full of the 325- round automatch boxes. I bought them when they were about 17 bucks and put them into the cans for later use.

Just came from the Academy store. 500 rounds of Remington Thunderbolt .22 LR is now priced at $44.99: Up 5 bucks.

22lr is still common in stores here, mainly odd and new brands. Hopefully some will be available at the local flee market this weekend for me to sight in my scope on my 10/22.

Sounds like it is a good time to sell then

We can easily burn up a brick of 22's in an afternoon when my kid is with me. Do that a couple times a month, then my couple hundred by myself once every week or so...not sure how abundant your supply is, but between me and the kid, we've shot about 3000 of the Federal AutoMatch this calendar year. That's not counting whatever other ammo I've used.

He got 2 of the 325 round boxes with his MKIV for Christmas. Counting those, I had 12 full boxes. Was down to 3 full and a partial before I picked up 4 more boxes a couple weeks ago...which is now back down to 5.

my local walmart almost always has 22lr in some fashion. Fed automatch for about $22, winchester in red packaging 100 rds for close to $11, winchester yellow boxes 300 rds $40 and CCI SV 50 rd boxes at $4.83. limit is 3 boxes(no matter what). i get the fed automatch 3 boxes or any box of it available. often i just get 3 50rd boxes of CCI SV but last time I got a 100 rd red package of winchester and 2 50 rd ccis for my 3 boxes. I never get the 300 rd $40 yellow boxes of winchester.

my lgs has Aguila 40 gr and 38 gr copper plated close to 11 cents per rd. i never buy it unless the price comes down further. at that price i would shoot CCI SV. there was a 500 rd brick of armscor 22 for $40. I bought one to try. As I was being rung up, the manager told the cashier to only charge me $20 as he felt guilty that my traded in gun sold higher than expected and that he had given me a lower trade in price for it a couple of weeks back. i love my local gun shop.

I have enough 22 ammo to last a long, long time. But, and I know it is ridiculous, but I sure wish there was a practical 22 equivalent round that could be reloaded easily and could be used in standard 22 guns. I lost count of my 22 rifles and short guns, was just out on the porch ringing steel open sights with my 39 Mountie and 39A Golden Boy. Fifty rounds down range, XXX,XXX,XXX to go .

Yes, I am fortunate in that we can shoot .22's at some family owned property, at my in-laws, and at my folks' house. I also go to the state range some if only to shoot at 50 yards and beyond.

I was at the local Cabela's today, Avon Lake, Ohio. The ammo shelved were well stocked to include 22 LR and all popular calibers. Some powder and primers which I didn't need but plenty of bullets. Didn't note powder and primer cost but bullets including bullets like Hornady XTP were priced reasonably as I recall as was the ammunition.

Scheels had plenty of 22lr ost of it is at ridiculous prices. The actual bricks of Aguilla were the best price there. Walmart has 22lr federal and Winchester. The federal sells while the Winchester sits. Cabelas same issue plenty of 22lr for rediculous prices. Academy 22lr rediculous prices
