Have you purchased anything gun related in the last three days?

After finding the slide of a Walther P1 with a crack and replacing the slide with one from my parts boxes, I ordered two Walther P1 slide from CDNN for $19.99 each and a few small AR parts along with the slides. The slides crack where the cut out for the locking block is and I have also seen that happening on a reenforced slide, so that is a good part to have for anybody who shoots a P1/P38.

I have my scope, sling, scope covers, case, 3 boxes of factory ammo(because no primers) and target supplies all packed in the car ready to go pick up my rifle. I’m decidedly an early bird, and waiting for a store to open at 9:00 is miserable. Haha.

I bought Pachmayr grips to replace the Magna for a S&W 28-2 4" I bought 3-4 days ago. The Magna grips punished my middle finger joint on the first range trip. Love the gun but the grips have to go in the box I keep the rest of my Magnas in.

Yesterday, I got 2 17 rd 9mm CZ P10C magazines from Galati for $92 in the mailbox. They are the "2 slot" which fit my CZ P07 and the P 10 C. I paid $60 for a 15 rd 3rd mag at the Feb gunshow so now I have the "minimum requirement" 5 for my carry pistol. These mags were "unobtanium" for quite awhile but are now showing up on multiple websites. Joe

Vortex Optics Ranger HD R/T 10x50 Tactical Binoculars.

Optics Planet pulled an Optic's Planet on me, claiming to have binoculars IN STOCK that they didn't have in stock. AFTER taking my $$$, i get email that "Sorry, occasionally our inventory isn't updated correctly. We expect restock in 25+ days or possibly longer. We'll notify you as soon as they ship!" Yeah.....sure... They're notorious for this crap. I've never ordered from them before because of the tons of complaints of such games but mistakingly took a chance anyway.

Fortunately, I ordered via Amazon to O P , so i got the Amazon A to Z guarantee. Amazon does not release $$ to sellers UNTIL item actually ships so I didn't have to fight to get my $$ back, it was still there.

Better off, I found a better optic with the mil range reticle I didn't know existed & will be here tomorrow!

150 lbs of Linotype, to mix with the 156 lbs of lead I got a few weeks ago.
1lb Unique and 1lb of 2400, unopened, from a gun shop, for $30 each. Been looking for the 2400 for a couple years.

Scored an Arisaka "Type" 38 6.5 mm in carbine length yesterday at the gun show. Sorry, no pic, is apart right now getting cleaned. The metal, bluing and rifling are in amazing shape. The mum is x'ed but clearly visible. The stock is a bit dirty and that needs the most work.

I was in the reloading department of Scheels when they were unloading a shipment of primers and powder.

I want to call it a score but $75 for primers is far from a score. I know thats the new norm but it makes me sick.

I also made it to the local gun shop and they had a 20 year old can of GOEX FFg...I figured heck, why not.

Picked up a new to me Colt Detective Special and a Browning BDA 45. Both were made in the 70’s and are like new, unfired. Bought 2 extra mags for the Browning off the internet.

Bought a used Jeep Wrangler and have been building that instead of buying gun stuff for the most part.

That being said, went to the newest and only, gun shop in our county last week. It was a well stocked gun shop with easily a couple 100k of guns and ammo. There was a Savage Hog Hunter on the wall in 308. I pulled it off the wall to fondle it, put it back. Pulled it off a 2nd time, put it back. Pulled it off the wall a 3rd time and bought it.

Being left handed I prefer left handed bolt actions... but this would make a good loaner gun and I like that it has iron sights on it.

Just one box of 30 30 federal ammo. Cost was way too much $31+change. I tried to talk myself out of buying. But, I lost. First 30 30 ammo I've seen in a couple years.
But, a good thing "may" have happened.
My wife was with me. She asked why I keep buying ammo. I told her. Because, I have 6 different caliber rifle/handguns + 2 different shotgun gauges to buy for.
She asked, Why do you have 8 different guns
to buy ammo for??
I said, Because I don't have 10.
She said, Oh.
I have been wanting a 10mm and 40 cal.
Should I????
