My Ruger Mark IV 22/45 went off today UPS 2nd day air, how long is the wait for a response from Ruger that it's coming back home? thanks

I had to send a rifle back to the mother ship. Think the turnaround time was roughly a week after I dropped the package off. I am sure it will close to that, Maybe add a few days with covid.

I sent my mark 4 back for a recall, it was 1 week and a free mag! door to door

Ruger received it yesterday, I got another email today wanting dealer info as they are sending a new gun. Went to my dealer and they handled the paperwork with their ffl. I get home and get an email from Ruger again, saying the new gun will go out today, tomorrow or Friday depending on how busy the order department is. Wow very fast service, A+++ to Ruger, should be shooting by next week.

Another update on my gun, just got an email Fed Ex picked up the package today and is supposed to be delived at my dealer before 4:30 Friday the 22nd. That would make 1 week from the time I mailed the gun back to them, till I receive it. I would have rather had UPS but as long as it gets here I will be happy.

told ya! 1 week door to door!

RUGER = BOMB!

Just curious as to what happened to your .22/45. Mine is at the gunsmith because Ruger wanted $30 for return label and the smith said he could fix it for that. Maybe I missed out on a new gun.

Where the Mark IV logo was put on, the machine kept going looked like and it had several deep scratches, i didn't look it over well at the store. Ruger decided to replace instead of repair. Ruger paid for my label and even had UPS to come pick up the gun at my door.

Congrats on the new pistol! Way to go Ruger! While I have owned and do own several Rugers they have never had to go back for service thankfully!

Thanks for the reply. My gun is seven years old so Ruger wouldn't pay for shipping. Probably fair. I've liked Rugers since my Single Six when I was 15, over 60 years ago.

The AR lower I had to send back to Ruger was sent to them for free, repaired, and picked up by me in 7 total days. All issues were repaired and its been perfect ever since.

The P365 XL I sent back Sig was also free and was repaired and back in my hands in 10 days.

Ruger CS has always been top notch IME. Sig and Mossberg have been great to me too. Worst ever I've experienced is Taurus, and the local PD's experience with Beretta made me swear off Beretta too.

And this is why I love Ruger so much! Haven’t had any problems “knock on wood” but if I do. I know they will take care of me.
