That 3” is an uncommon one for sure, glad you were able to rescue it from the safe of eternal darkness.
I think the God of stainless is smiling on us, I have a decent Model 65 .357 in the 10-day penalty box for another five days.

It went from the FFL to my home for a quick cleaning and then straight to the range. It was so easy to be accurate with I left the range smiling. It's now on the nightstand with the window open in the fresh spring air instead of in a safe. Looking forward to seeing your Model 65 too. I considered a 65 but couldn't physically inspect it and thought I'd be safer with a used k frame in 38spl.Very nice!

I'd have been thrilled to find a 3" 64 like that. I'd been looking for one for years.
Recently was offered a 3" 65 on a deal I couldn't belive. Just assumed a 3" 65 would always be out of my grasp. I just need to find a grip screw to put the magna grips and an T grip I got laying around it on and I'll have one of my grail guns set up just like I want.

Nice find. I really like the K frames but was leery of buying a 357 magnum K frame w/o being able to inspect it first. You guys here got me itching for a 3 inch K frame before I stumbled across mine online. I'm looking for a holster now. It's a Bianchi 5 Black widow. If you like OWB carry, it's a great holster.
