What is the last gun that you bought?

Davis D-32 derringer in nickel-finish, because I wanted an inexpensive derringer to round up my Western-type knockoff gun collection. Already had (have) a Winchester 94, and imported knockoffs of the 1873 revolver (Taylor's Smoke Wagon by Uberti) and 12g coach gun (Norinco JW-2000.)

The Davis is pre-owned, but appears to have never been fired. It's likely to stay that way for a while; I really have no intention of making a shooter of it, and certainly won't carry it.

Came across an old ('93) SP101 22LR 6 shooter. Picked it up today.

Neat!
I had the full-lugged six shot, but gave it to my Daughter-

I didn't find it particularly accurate, but she shoots it well enough.
If you dont mind, what did you pay for yours? I picked this one up for $550 about 5 years ago, but Ive seen two at gunshows since then with over a grand on the tag!

^ Those older version SP .22LR revolvers are kind of on the rare side. They didn't make too many of them. I had them on my radar back then.

I have one of the newer style, and I don't think they command $1K right now. Then again, pricing is so wonky nowadays I could be wrong. Or at least it could be closer than I think.

Nightlord, from what I've read, that full lug version is the hardest to find. I think I got a great deal on mine. Local guy posted it on Texas Gun Trader for $500 or best offer. I knew $500 was an excellent price, so I jumped on it right away. Told the seller I wouldn't jerk him around on a best offer, just pay the $500. Apparently, his FIL just passed away and left a collection of 200+ guns to be disposed of. This was one of those.

There is another full lug version in the Ft Worth area. Has CT laser grips though. Wants $980 firm.

After looking for a long time I found an Astra Cub at a gun show a couple of months ago. I was in the LGS last week buying the S&W 1913 a few posts up and spotted a minty Cub in the display case. It was nicer than mine but I left without it. I couldn't stop thinking about it and went in this week and made a deal on it. I listed the other Cub on the local gun site and it didn't last a day. I got $25 more than I paid for the new one. Gotta love an upgrade AND a refund!

Id say you did real good at that price, let is know how it shoots for ya.

Funny thing was, I really didn't even want one at the time, but I had a bunch of store credit to burn and that was the only interesting gun they had that day, lol.

I figure its an heirloom quality gun thats unlikely to ever need repairs and ammo will pretty much always be around, so it was a good one to pass on. :)
