Ruger Blackhawk Aftermarket Grips

I've got a set of Texas grips Mesquite burl on my Ruger 44 special flat top. Haven't shot it a lot but just loaded up a couple of hundred 44 specials and 45 Colt for my USFA Rodeo.

Took a look at what Texas Grips has to offer: https://texasgrips.com/product-category/pistol-grips/ruger/

I love the color and grain of the Mesquite they use. However, an individual would have to call and find out if the size of their grips is in any way different from factory. The OP must have a large hand, and is looking for wider and longer grips than factory,

It can be very frustrating to try to find the grip that fit your hand.

I need a better set of grips for my "New Model" Blackhawk. The original ones look nice but they don't fit my hand. Makes it a little uncomfortable shooting magnum loads. Any suggestions?
I don't know the caliber of your "magnum", but mine are 41 and 44 Magnums, large frames, both with Bisley grips. The 41 was a conversion using a kit I bought from Ruger. The 44 left the factory as Bisley, later cut down to 6" barrel from 7.5". The Bisley grip was the answer for me to comfort and flinch.

Thanks for the mention of Texas Grips. My 357 Blackhawk was made in 1955. It came with some crappy plastic grips that didn't fit right. It now has holly Texas Grips that fit perfectly. The finish has that purple-ish tinge some of the old BHs develop. That almost pure white looks great against the dark finish.

I put rubber grips on the magnum Blackhawks. It's easier on my aging hands. But the BH above will only see 38 special wadcutters, so I can have both great looks and comfort.

The extended grips are 1/2 inch longer and mine aren't thin as far as circumference. I

Bearpaw custom grips. Fatter at the top, narrower at the bottom.
I have these on all five of my Ruger single actions and couldn't be happier
