My Savage.

My score. Was pretty decent until I shot the last 3 (bottom right). Not sure why the awful spread so I'll just blame it on the ammo.
My Henry with Skinner rear sight. Shot at 25 yards.

across the road is the local airfield where the Forest Service sets up their air attack crews in the summer. They were practicing a little fast roping.
That was an option in the original posting, id actually forgotten till i went back and read thru the thread. That would probably be a good option as well, ill have to try it. Im pretty sure i tried shooting these with my buckmark and decided it wasnt going to happen so didnt do it....why exactly i cant remember.Loonwulf said ..."That might work, to be honest I couldnt eve TRY to shoot these targets with an iron sighted gun, so IM really not much help in figguring this one out."
I thought in the original ( or maybe it was a different challenge ) we gave the option of blacking out a set of targets staple the black out over a regular and shoot through. I know I need a 4" black bull to shoot at 50 yds.
Im inclined to say yes.....At least for this shoot. Is this for 22lr only?
Went out this morning with the intention of trying this out but was having a 'senior moment', forgot to bring the printed targets...
Re-zeroed my 22s to 50 yds and took a poke at the closest thing I had to the correct targets. May revisit this another day.
Bottom target was my Henry Hoo1 with a $20 tasco on it, top target was an untouched Rossi RS22. Aguila 40 gr. 'super extra' ammo.
My humble groups:

Had a hell of a time even seeing these targets with the irons on the Rossi.
You can shoot the irons at 25yds or color in the bulls like @ford8nr suggested. I still havent gotten to go shoot (actually sent some of my guns to the range with a buddy today because i cant go lol), but i want to try both methods this time around.Went out this morning with the intention of trying this out but was having a 'senior moment', forgot to bring the printed targets...

Yeah i think the 10/22 deserves a reshoot, the a22 seems to do pretty well with that Winchester stuff.I did the challage with my 10/22 and Savage A22. I had a scope mount issue with the 10/22. When i got home and checked. The rear ring screw to base was a 1/2 turn loose. I'll do the 10/22 again. 1st group was ok with it. Ammo was winchester 555. View attachment 1083560

Sucks you got pulled away! Looking forward to seeing what those rifles can do.Tried to make this happen today. Even chose the candidates:View attachment 1083630
L-R: FrankenRuger, Marlin 7000T, Remington Model 5, old Marlin 25N.
Made it to the range (I was RSO-ing anyway), too:

Plan was to run a boresnake through each 5 times to "clean out" the lube from whatever I'd previously use, then sight all in with RWS Target Rifle and then shoot for record. I have no idea if any of these guns like this ammo. Anyway, half-way through the snakeing I was interrupted by a call to deal with a presumed crisis (non-TFL related), so I packed it all up without firing a shot. I'll try again next week.
