The store here has no guns or ammo, terrible service, and even more worse prices.
Dunham's beats them by over 80 percent in kids softball gear. It was remarkable (and also sells guns and ammo). Dunham's is about ten minutes away, Bass pro shop is another ten minutes.
I'll never darken their doorstep. Last time I was in there a few years ago the prices were absolutely nuts, and every two steps had some kind of Marxist BLM propaganda (even plastered all over the walls in the bathroom, couldn't even escape at the urinal).
Couldn't hustle out fast enough. I have no idea how they are doing well, I really don't..I can't think of a worse sporting goods store as far as service and prices.
They probably didn't feel losing the guns and ammo, their selection was always pretty lame and weak even compared to Walmart, arguably the reigning title champ of lame and weak guns/ammo( and I'm sure they'll abandon their remaining 22s and 12 gauges any day).
I know it's convenient to grab a box of range ammo in addition to your new socks or putter or whatever, but it's best to stick to local gun stores or companies with a vested interest in our shooting sports and self defense traditions enshrined in the 2nd.
Bass pro was rounding up to the NRA the other day, I know that organization has it's issues but I like it better than being asked to round up to #metoo or something.
