Thoughts on new guns

Anyone ever thought of anything you would like to see made, brought back, or newly made?
I for one would like to see someone make a new model 99 savage type lever gun with the rotarymagazine again. One of the Italian companies or anyone.
Savage used to make a really cool over and under rifle/shotgun combination, I think would be really cool. say 30-30/20 guage, or 243/20 guage.

FN's new, improved "High Power" shares almost nothing with the original. It's bigger, heavier, has different ergos, different internals. It may turn out to be a great gun but it's a Hi Power in name only.

I second that motion, sir! I don't own any 9mm pistols and thus don't reload for it, but would gladly buy a set of dies if I could magically somehow get a Hi-Power at a really low price.

I'd like to see S&W do up a spiffy new snubnose revolver in .32 Magnum. Or even, to go completely into fantasy-land, .32 Long.

Keep your eyes peeled on gun.deals, I snagged my Girsan MCP35 for $499 shipped! Got the last one in stock

edit: looks like there's a seller with them in stock for $499 before shipping and taxes, at least. Cheaper than the Springfield SA35, that's for sure.

I almost always prefer the original versions instead of the current production versions, so I'm more likely to buy an original even if someone restarts production of a classic.

On topic of savage, somebody in Italy should be making a savage navy. A volcanic pistol could also be worthwhile in a short fat case even if the internals did have to be totally different to make it work… give me a 32acp or 32sw volcanic and I’ll gladly give you a weeks pay.

If Smith & Wesson would start building these again, I'd probably buy one. If new ones were stainless, I'd definitely buy one. :thumbup:

They still do in .22/410 - the 42. Other companies make shotgun/rifle OU combination guns in other calibers/gauges.
